Humor / Meme Blizzard, THIS is how casting CHAIN LIGHTNING should feel
When i start casting I want to know some boys about to get CLAPPED. I want it to feel like I'm firing off a nuclear warhead toward some poor soul.
If our spec is destined to be ass, at least give us this one thing to work with. 200 hours in MS paint

I hope that using an electric collar to shock your dog on demand isn't as political as you immediately claimed.

I’d love something like the more you cast lightning bolt the more it increases the potency of chain lightning (up to 3 times for instance)

I think that would be a good medium to require shamans some buildup. Ele used to obliterate AV turtles, which depending how you think about it may have been a good thing lol

in Vanilla CL was the ONLY spell with a cast time AND a cooldown AND some crazy spell coef as a result, a really unique spell, then in wrath they just decided some random yet another FIRE spell aka lava burst should replace it and basically made it a mini aoe/cleave filler instead of the Nuke it used to be.

I've been complaining about this shit for years. It happened to basically every class: whirlwind, multi-shot, divine storm (in legion). They also took blizzard and rain of fire, 2 powerful aoe channels, and reduced them to single global buttons which only serve to activate other mechanics (fof and shards)
It was part of their mission to take power away from individual abilities, instead opting for a complex rotation where damage comes from some sort of mini-game, builder spender system, and no button feels individually fun to press at all. I'm a retail andy but it's one of my huge gripes with how modern classes feel.

All the people who have played Shaman in WOW Forever at 60 and know how they play endgame is wild.
I will need to reroll to Mage now as you have confirmed Ele Shaman isn't viable at 60.
