Forever Beta Feedback Unintended outcomes of the Dungeon XP Nerf

  1. Monster Skip Runs [ More than just end game dungeons ]

  2. Hard Reserving of low level gear [ Not just Cruel Barb ]

  3. Less Tank and Healers leveling [ You see them say it every day on reddit since the nerf ]

  4. Tanks and Healers charging for their services for low level dungeons [ Not just end game ]

  5. Less dungeons begin ran [ Meaning harder to find groups ]

  6. Less social interactions [ Dungeons were the group activity, questing is primarily solo ]

  7. Some dungeons being skipped entirely [ Alliance have no reason to run Shadow Fang Keep since there are no quests and no mob XP ]

There are more issues than just these, I normally just run a dungeon 3-5 times now trying to convince people to do that will be drastically harder.

why would cloth users help me do Scarlett Monetary Armory?

Will people just Skip SM Cath because you have to clear all mobs?

We have never had to ask these questions before and this is why people are so passionate about it, we are supposed to be playing this version Forever.

Just make Boosting a lifetime bannable offense.

It’s not an issue in beta cuz it’s locked to level 30 and people will run the dungeons multiple times for gear. Not gonna be the case as much when the game is live. Use some fucking common sense. THE BETA EXPERIENCE DOES NOT MIRROR THE LIVE EXPERIENCE

It being locked to level 30, and a beta, is what makes people MORE likely to skip trash though. Why bother doing any mobs you don't need to if all you care about is the end gear

They skip trash because they're level cap and get no experiences v.s. they skip trash because they're not level cap but get no experience.

It's so weird seeing people be like, "I'm going to go out of my way to kill every trash mob because I love killing trash that's the whole reason I'm here give me more trash to kill for no reason!"

So weird that people want to risk a 10+ minute ghost walk and re-setup just to avoid spending less then a minute on a pack of mobs.

youre 100% right, the beta is a tiny amount of the actual players that will play on launch. most of the people that will play on launch dont give a single shit about this and will just play the game and have fun. i can guarantee you this wont be an issue at all once the game launches with the normal player base and its not only the people that felt the need to pay $60 to test the game

To be fair, if the argument is that these issues exist but new or casual players won’t notice it, that’s still problematic. Like if I can’t smell but my home is filling with methane gas there’s still an issue regardless of my perception of it. Idk that just seems like a weak counterpoint. Not being able to find viable groups for low level content, to me, sounds like a game killer. As it’s been stated dungeons are THE group content of WoW unless there’s other changes with questing I’m unaware of. There needs to be some incentive there to run them and continue running them. If what OP is saying isn’t an issue say that but at least explain your opinions why beyond “well I didn’t have an issue in my experience”

I got 4 toons to level 20 and 2 toons to level 30 on the beta. I did like all the content there was to do. I've played WoW classic since 2019. I know exactly how this goes my man. I've seen the evidence lol.
