Forever Beta Feedback Unintended outcomes of the Dungeon XP Nerf

  1. Monster Skip Runs [ More than just end game dungeons ]

  2. Hard Reserving of low level gear [ Not just Cruel Barb ]

  3. Less Tank and Healers leveling [ You see them say it every day on reddit since the nerf ]

  4. Tanks and Healers charging for their services for low level dungeons [ Not just end game ]

  5. Less dungeons begin ran [ Meaning harder to find groups ]

  6. Less social interactions [ Dungeons were the group activity, questing is primarily solo ]

  7. Some dungeons being skipped entirely [ Alliance have no reason to run Shadow Fang Keep since there are no quests and no mob XP ]

There are more issues than just these, I normally just run a dungeon 3-5 times now trying to convince people to do that will be drastically harder.

why would cloth users help me do Scarlett Monetary Armory?

Will people just Skip SM Cath because you have to clear all mobs?

We have never had to ask these questions before and this is why people are so passionate about it, we are supposed to be playing this version Forever.

Just make Boosting a lifetime bannable offense.

It certainly secured my decision to roll Druid.

I couldn’t find a single group for HoT last week as a mage when I was able to play, but I could find unlimited as a Druid.

I’ll heal or tank my one run and move on, because running multiple is useless now. I didn’t think it’d be a big deal but it really did ruin it for me and I LOVE dungeons

Same for me and Paladin, will level as ret just fine to 60 and if they revert the dungeon xp nerf then I can roll prot or something.

Once I get 60 I can at least tank for my self and just get 3 spellcasters or leather boys depending on the healer.

I dunno, I dread playing Druid.
I wanted to level as Resto Druid, but looks like it's going to be a lot of questing and Feral is by far the fastest questing spec for druid which I personally dislike.

That’s fair, I love the class fantasy of shape shifting.

And as a dad, it’s a huge plus to be able to get into dungeons quickly as tank and in cat form to stealth anywhere

Unfortunately you don't get cat form until 20 and pre-20 druid questing is the worst of all the classes I tried on the beta. On our first characters, my friend got his shaman to 14 in 4 hours but it took me 10 hours to get to 14 on my druid. Even with the 50% buff to Wrath, the horrible mana efficiency and spell pushback means you just moonfire and autoattack each mob, then you have to drink back to full after each kill. My first RFC with 5/5 points in Improved Wrath, I was doing 8 dps on my druid. I leveled a rogue and I was doing 35 dps in my first RFC. Blizzard really dropped the ball on class balance with the spellpower scaling. A crit ambush will nearly one shot equal level mobs while questing. I leveled duo rogues with my friend and we were globaling every single mob with zero downtime. I was able to gank a 28 druid on my 22 rogue yesterday. The difference is just absurd.

I’m sorry, but this is a bit hyperbolic. If you’re only casting moonfire and auto attacking mobs why would you need to drink? Efficient leveling as a low level druid is all about mana management via the 5 second rule. 1-10 is miserable, sure, but 10-20 is not as bad as you make it sound. Wrath twice then moonfire on a mob or two and then bear form and maul them down. Especially with the rage changes. The trade off is 1-20 is booty cheeks then 20-60 is amazing.

You have to drink after healing because you have 120 mana and moonfire costs 55 and healing touch costs 55.
