Be mindful of listings from suspicious third-party sellers on marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, Newegg, and Walmart. These "deals" have a high likelihood of not shipping; use due diligence in reviewing deals.

  • Use common sense - if the deal seems too good to be true, it probably is.
  • Check seller profiles for signs that the sale may be fraudulent:
    • The seller is new or has few reviews.
    • The seller has largely negative reviews (on Amazon, sellers can remove negative reviews from their visible ratings)
    • The seller is using a previously dormant account (likely the account was hacked and is now being used fraudulently).

If you suspect a deal is fraudulent, please report the post. Moderators can take action based on these reports. We encourage leaving a comment to warn others.

It's been this price all week. Great cooler for a great price.

The new gigantic FS140 with LCP fans was $37 on sale prime day.

It'll go to that by November, maybe even lower because they're desperate. DIY market in collapse.

How does it compare to the phantom spirit 140? Noise as well?

Not directly answering your question but unless you’re going to swap Noctuas on the Phantom Spirit, it’s worth noting the Royal Pretor has better stock fans with fluid dynamic bearings than the PS. I moved from a Phantom Spirit 120 with Noctuas to the Royal Pretor and found the difference in noise to be trivial (tho my computer is several feet away, not on at ear level on a desk).

you're talking about the regular phantom spirit, not the new 140

the 140 has new, much better fans, and should be a much better performer, especially on AM5

Performance wise a bit better but not enough to make a performance difference. Noise wise a decent bit quieter.

Isn't the sama dual tower still on sale for 20 bucks?

I got both in the mail today. After inspecting each one I kinda actually prefer the sama. The thermal paste with the sama isn't my favorite, but I kinda like the style more and they both seemed to be the same noise level when I did a basic bench test.

Sama even when not on sale is only $25, I believe.
