Solved Help with the weight painting?
I have trouble bending the legs. I do not know what exactly the problem is or how to fix it. I think it might be a weights issue, but I'm not sure.

Looking for quick and helpful answers? Follow these rules and make helping you as easy as possible!
Example: Say, you have a problem with lots of identical objects in your scene: Let us know whether you created these copies by hand, used the Particle System or Geometry Nodes.
You can upload images and short video clips (up to 60s) to imgur.com and post the links in your question or as comment.
You can change the flair by clicking on the small icon below your post resembling a label.
EDIT: You can also include "!solved" in the comments to have Automod change the flair for you.

So i downloaded this Leon Kennedy Model from here: https://www.patreon.com/PvrpleSerot0nin/posts/resident-evil-4-80738854 (the blender file i used is in the Part 4 Folder) and since it said fully rigged I (wrongly) assumed I could just load it up in blender and start animating.
I have no idea how any of this works so I watched this video for reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jIwrswJEFBQ and did what he said regarding the Driver rig, which took me all evening yesterday because the bones are so overlapped. Today I realise even with doing this I don't think I can animate this. If anyone has a more usable model or tips how to actually get animation going with this I'd greatly appreciate it. As I said, I am a total beginner, I've never modeled anything in blender nor rigged anything. All I know about blender is how the VSE works lmao. Thank you for reading.
Edit to add: What I meant by my question was whether it'd be difficult to make a control rig from the existing bone rig. I should've worded that more clearly 😅

I am trying to wrap (lol) my head around how rig this box to fold properly.
The current state is just done with shape keys, and from here I want to close the top. I have tried to illustrate how the closing works. The top folds over and down, and as it goes, the side marked 1, goes inwards and folds up against the top. The side marked 2 folds inward and down towards the rest of the box. 1 and 2 are connected in the middle, so they have to move together at the 45 degree cutting line.
Maybe I am making it more complicated than it has to be, but I tried using three bones (one for each of the marked elements) and I just couldn't figure it out. Then I tried doing bone constraints, having 2 fold inwards 90 degrees as the top folded down 90 degrees, but they seemed to rotate in random directions (probably just me not getting how it works) no matter what I tried.
Any help would be greatly appreaciated. The end goal is to have it rigged so I can animate it closing.

Following a couch tutorial to get better at cloth sculpting and just stuff with clothes, but I somehow ended up with over 73 thousand vertices and I need to get the count down cuz it seems like WAYYY too much for a rectangle with a little detail. I am unsure of what to do to get this to look better but any help works (I'm a blender beginner with only one "full" (2 second) animation so when explaining things explain it like I have no idea what I'm doing because I probably don't)

there's a lot i need to fix on this mixamo animation but what i'm focused on is the character on the right. i've tried parenting the gloves to the hand and wrists in both fk and ik but i'm running into the same issue of the rotation not following the arm. i also tried using other methods such as: bone constraint, weight painting and even a data transfer to armature method and both didnt work. i've run into this same issue in the past when trying to parent boots to feet and the boot now following the leg when the knee is bent. weight painting doesn't work so another method would be MUCH appreciated.

I’m looking for some help in understanding how to create flexible, cartoon-style rigs—specifically ones that can stretch to accommodate large mouths, wrap around the face, or handle extreme poses. I’d also like to learn how to create eyelids in the style shown in the image I’ll provide. I believe this involves using B-bones, but I’ve never worked with them before. The attached image is an example of the look I’m aiming for; another good reference would be the character Jax from *The Amazing Digital Circus*.

I've used this modifier successfully with single models via the Object instance type, but I'm struggling to get the same setup to work with a collection of objects.
I have a collection with a few different tree models. I set the Instance Type in the modifier to Collection and choose that collection. In the viewport (including rendered view) I can see the trees as expected and they look correct. However, if I render an image, the trees are not visible. This wasn't the case when using the Object instance type; with one tree selected, it rendered just fine.
I tried checking Realize Instances. This does make the trees visible via render image, but also completely changes the look of their material for some reason.

I'm trying to teach myself Blender so that I can print my own dice masters. I found a great tutorial that showed me how to "parent" text to an object, then use "instances-faces" to put the text on all faces. From there I edit it, solidify it, convert it to a mesh, extrude it, etc.
However, once in a while the text is off kilter with the faces as pictured). Also, there are times I want to modify dice (such as by adding a symbol) without using the parent function.
My question, how do I make text (or an image) automatically sit flush on a face as well as automatically be centered? Thanks!

Hello everyone, I am having a trouble rigging a tank stabilizer on blender. Im still not used to rigging like this, as we can see, the stab DOES work but my main issue is that my cannon kept phasing through the wall. Is there a way to fix it?
If anyone want to take a closer look on my tank turret, here's the link for it:

All the tutorials I've found for CRT effects in Blender are mainly for TV screens and not fully on models.
(I know this doesn't really qualify as a Blender issue, but I literally don't know what other forum I can go on to ask this question, so yeah.)

I am in the process of making the ring I am going to propose to my girlfriend with, and in order to do that I had to pick up blender. That said I am an absolute beginner, and I can't figure out for the life of me how to achieve this type of look. The photo of blender is what I have so far. if anyone has any video links, .blend files, general advice, or is willing to help, that would be greatly appreciated. EDIT: i was informed that the word "look implies rendering." what I was attempting to convey was the modeling details so that it looks similar to that in real life.

I'm still pretty beginner at blender but I at least know how to do modelling, scripting, and use basic nodes. I have to make a 3D model of this building for one of my assignments but I can't figure out how or where to start. If anyone could help that would be really appreciated, thank you!

I'm getting these weird grainy shadows on my model. Turning on the inverted hull outline seems to make the problem worse, but turning the solidify modifier off doesn't seem to fix it.
The shadows only seem to effect the face, the rest of the body, and the other outfits and props are fine.
I'm really not sure where the problem lies.

This animation is from the game’s files and the bones names are the same but I don’t know how to connect that animation to the model
Also i imported both the models rigs and animation in glb format

Basically I got my hands in a ttrpg mini's .obj file. I sent it to blender so I could prepare it for 3d printing, but all the 'accessories' are joined in a single item. I could spend lots of hours going into edit mode, selecting each vertex of each individual thing, then move it out of the way, but that is too much for me. Is there a easy way to separate things if they are joined? I think my screenshots will help make sense of what my issue is.

Hopefully it makes sense. English isnt my first language so...
