Its most likely not, depending on the state. Here in michigan, you have to park 30ft from any stop sign.

If there's no red curb it's kind of whatever. If they were in the intersection (past the line for the stop) I'd say that's bad.

How does that have any impact on you or anyone else for that matter?

Do you understand the intention of this sub?

Cuz we bitch about people who park their car like complete idiots, like this dude who rolled up on a stop sign and thought it just felt right to leave his car in the portion of the street that’s intended for traffic, hence the thick white stripe at the front of the car.

But if that’s too deep and all, you can see yourself out.

What town is that? Show me the ordinance for that particular town that says that car is parked illegally. Can’t do it can you? 🤦🏻‍♂️

Minnesota 169.34 PROHIBITIONS; STOPPING, PARKING. (7) within 30 feet upon the approach to any flashing beacon, stop sign, or traffic-control signal located at the side of a roadway

Google "park 30 feet from stop sign (state)" I tried 5 different states and they all had a law for it

So you live somewhere that parking that close to the intersection/stop sign is legal? Thats crazy.

Because its illegal in literally every jurisdiction I know of.

The reason you aren't supposed to park at an intersection is because it limits the visibility of drivers to see cyclists, pedestrians, and cross traffic.

Almost like these laws are usually in place for a good reason. Why would you care if someone parked in front of a hydrant? As long as your house isn't the one that would burn down, who cares?
