AI art is now officially banned. NSFW
Yeah, we pretty much knew which way that poll was gonna go before it started didn't we?
Some AI art is awful, some of it's better than others.
By the same token, not every piece of art here that's hand made by an artist is a winner either.
If there is a piece of media here you happen to not like, you are free to speak about the piece of art in a critical fashion.
If someone likes a piece of media here and you have an issue with them liking it, you are free to keep that entirely to yourself.
In the past week, the hostility shown to people for liking AI art has been more disgusting than any AI art posted in the entire past year. Not having it anymore.

Nothing anybody said towards AI defenders in here or the other mass effect nsfw sub compares to the horrible practice of art theft and shitty blending of people’s hard work that is AI slop. Even the worst human made piece of a stick figure with two big circles for tits is leagues above the best AI can come up with by merit of it not being made by a soulless exploitative program

Suppose it depends on what people have been saying. If anyone's been throwing around 'kys' then obviously that's too far but I haven't seen anything that bad.

If you can't stand for something without shitting on another person in the process, sit down.
This is something we teach children in school. If you dislike a topic, you can debate and argue the topic. But you do not attack the person on the other side of the debate.
If you see AI art, downvote and report it. There is no excuse to begin insulting the person that posted it. Doing so will lead to messages being deleted, and bans being handed out.
At no point am I telling anyone they must like AI images or human made images. You decide what you like. But you will behave in a respectful manner towards people in this subreddit. I expect all people here to have the social skills of an 18 year old with a 3 digit IQ.

Anyone that is supporting AI "art" is supporting the stolen work of actual people who put their lives into that shit you can go fuck yourself trying to shame people for taking a big stance against it in any way they can. You should feel shame for allowing it even this long but at least you woke up.

Agreed. We have to acknowledge that AI art isn't going away anytime soon, and that treating people who like it like garbage isn't helping. Discrimination is never OK.

I wanna make it clear that I do not promote or support ANY AI art, or the people who post it. But I also don't promote any hostility towards them. They don't deserve that. But they should 100% start their own subreddit instead of just expecting EVERYONE to be cool with it, especially since it's such a contentious topic.

Wtf? Make up your mind on what you want or mean, stand on principle or just don't bother trying to signal some principle.
I expect a No AI rule will be added so we can scan the media uploaded for AI and report it to the mods if it comes back as being AI?
Or is this a "If you can't prove it ignore it" type of thing?

Another oppressive subreddit that bans blindly just because vocal brigands vote to ban AI art that bothers only them.
I'm not interested to support a place with such oppression, bullying, harassment and irresponsible bans so I'll leave until the blind hate and ban is reversed
Funny how those same people would think censorship is bad but then they censor and ban things themselves
