Research EvoMusArt 2027: International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Music, Sound, Art and Design
The 16th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Music, Sound, Art and Design (EvoMusArt 2027) is accepting paper submissions.
When: 31 March – 2 April 2027
Where: Mainz, Germany
Paper Submission deadline: 1 November 2026
EvoMUSART focuses on AI and computational approaches to creativity, covering a broad range of topics, with a particular emphasis on research exploring how AI systems generate, support, evaluate, interpret, and collaborate in creative processes.
Accepted papers will be presented at the conference and published in a dedicated LNCS volume.

it's kinda crazy that a deadline in 2026 dictates the vibe of a conference in 2027, but i guess that's just how fast the tech moves.
as you look at these generative audio pipelines, you really start to notice how the line between the algorithm and the artist gets blurry. we spend so much time optimizing models to predict the next note perfectly, but real music has always been about the silence between the notes. you can train a diffusion model to mimic a genre, but can it ever capture the observer behind the art? the 'I' that actually feels the emotion?
honestly its just wild to see how far evolutionary stuff has come. makes you wonder.
