It can be. A rogue hair like that is a sign of a damaged follicle. It can happen for any number of reasons, but the most likely is an imbalance in your skin's microbiome. If you're also having beard dandruff, it's probably just overgrowth of native yeast on your skin. An over-the-counter antifungal shampoo will fix that right up

To be fair, ass hair does assist in reducing chafing. I usually try to shave a lot of my body hair, but I only partially cut the hair in my inner thigh and crack for this reason, has helped me so much with reducing chafing.

Exactly, at least ass/pubic hair has a job. It also protects kinda like eyelashes do. Thats why i avoid removing all of it (getting gross here but sometimes periods just are so BLOODY theres no other comforable choice than to go bald for a while but otherwise pussy lashes stay on.)

Yeah, they just tend to be thinner and shorter so they're not always obvious even if you don't shave or otherwise remove them. I had a cis girlfriend who basically had a mustache, though it was made of short and light hair, so you could only see it in the right light or feel it by touch.

Each of those knuckles have a specific gene for whether hair grows there or not. My pointer finger doesn't have that gene. My right finger has exactly one little hair on it.

That's the part of the hand (or really, the foot) that other animals have hair on. If you were a dog, it would be beneficial to have hair on the back of your paw and toes but not the front. You'll also notice you have hair on the same segment of your toes. The other segments don't have hair because in many animals those segments are often curled.
