Len Brown was a legendary writer and creative force whose 41-year career at Topps helped shape some of the company’s most memorable trading cards.
Joining Topps in 1959, Brown worked across both sports and non-sports releases, writing card backs and developing concepts that became part of collecting history.
He is best known as a co-creator of the iconic Mars Attacks series and also contributed to classics including Wacky Packages, Garbage Pail Kids and Civil War News.
Beyond Topps, Brown co-created the comic-book series T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents with artist Wally Wood.
His imagination and storytelling left a lasting mark on trading cards and American pop culture.

Got this in my first pack!

If Luis Peralta says it's a 1/1 then that's what I'm going with 😆

Just can’t do it anymore. You spend always increasing amounts of money to buy cards with ever expanding print runs and a ridiculously high percentage of cards are damaged compared to what it should be.
Not heavily damaged, but just enough to where no one in their right mind would pay market for it. I just pulled a numbered card for the first time in a min (random vet /250 so thankfully not worth much) and the colored border is chipped along half of the top, which is obvious when you look at it.
Not worth it to send ones like this in because to spend shipping, go through the hassle of reporting and sending it, and wait months for resolution just isn’t worth, let’s say the $15 that the card is, but because of the damage it’s now worth $5.
Just so disappointing, no excuse for this from a company with the size, revenue, and experience of Topps.

Bought this 2026 Allen & Ginter hobby box off of the Topps site and felt I did pretty well. Love the autos and how they did them this year. Yandel auto 1/50, yep, a bookend; Eva Erickson auto 4/99; Eva Erickson Brooklyn mini 7/25 and a Aaron Judge mini subset N34-7. Lots of base and some chrome but these were the best hits. Loads of fun to rip!

Who else can't resist the holiday packs?

Pulled this from one of the two megas I bought. I believe this is the black sparkle variation. Probably not worth much but it’s the lowest numbered card I’ve pulled so I’ll enjoy it.

My first ever Topps inception box , how did I do ?
My best hits from 2025 and 2026, 5 2025 hobbies, 2 boxes of 2025 Ginter X and 4 hobbies of 2026 A&G so I have very much beaten the odds!

All of the Malik Washington info actually refers to Danielle Hunter. Washington is 25, 5’8”, went to Virginia, and is from Georgia.

Fun to rip and I like the old school look and feel. The Through the Years are 1:40 in value boxes.
