Tali'Zorah - Mass Effect: She was by far the youngest in Mass Effect 1, and above all, she is a woman of action who was trained for her Pilgrimage. She has a combat drone and prefers using shotguns, which are even said to have high recoil. She also frequently repeats swear words in her own language, like bosh'tet. She is widely recognized as the best engineer the Normandy ever had, and by Mass Effect 2, she becomes its Chief Engineering Officer. And when her friends Shepard or Garrus tease her, she threatens them with her shotgun.
Winry Rockbell - Full Metal Alchemist: Although she lacks alchemical powers and is not part of the military in the series, she is an expert mechanical prosthetic (automail) engineer who possesses impressive physical strength. Due to years of carrying heavy tools, lifting metals, and forging heavy parts, Winry has developed muscles and physical strength well above average. However, unlike Tali, she is not a fighter. She often keeps characters stronger than herself in check, like the Elric brothers, who frequently drive her crazy
Joan Winslow from Prey (2017)’s DLC, Mooncrash. She is an engineer that works primarily on the eradicator turrets and heavy machinery. In the game, she starts each run with a wrench, spare parts, and the ability to summon turrets where she pleases.
When you begin her story quest to learn more about the characters and get closure in their tales, you immediately start a first person cutscene of her beating a man’s head in with her wrench because he wouldn’t tell her the fate of her love interest, who was crushed underneath a chunk of moon rock but not confirmed dead.
