Hated Tropes (Hated Trope) Endings so awful they completely destroy the legacy of the media.

  1. Two and a Half Men's final episode teased Charlie Sheen's character coming back and going to harm the other characters whilst also having insults to his character and Charlie Sheen himself. It's clear the director had a grudge and the ending where his character comes up to knock then get crushed by a piano before it cuts to the director before he says "winning" before getting crushed by another piano
  2. This was an upbeat animated show about a magical teen princess. The writers desperately wanted a romantic endgame for her and her best friend, but the way they got there was essentially multiversal omnicide. To stop a villain, the main character unilaterally decides magic is the root of all evil and destroys it entirely. By doing this, she casually commits mass genocide against every purely magical being in the multiverse. It also triggers a massive apocalyptic event that violently crashes different dimensions together into a chaotic hellscape. But the show frames this horrific, mass-extinction catastrophe as a sweet, triumphant ending just because two teenagers get to hold hands in the rubble (Star Vs The Forces Of Evil)

The mangaka had a type.

If you’re referring to mangaka liking older men you would be correct

The writer was a woman and her fantasy was being the little girl not the grown man

This is not an improvement but it should be clarified that this was a female pervert not a male one

i think its best to clarify because people immediately assume that if a work has a paedophilic message the immediate assumption is that the writer is male and thats a rather harmful stereotype

Women can be creeps too and that needs to be pointed out

I understand your assumption is that im a creep and i assure im very much not, im just a dude who really loves to correct people spouting incorrect information because im an asshole

You did pretend there was a difference and a distinction

I'm not sure what you thought it was, though

Just that it needed to be pointed out

What's the difference, exactly?

There isnt a difference i never said there was a difference

Im clarifying because i felt the orginal comment was assuming the writer was a man attracted to children which isnt the case

As i said i like to correct people when they get things wrong

that is what i am doing, because people like to assume that if a piece of content has grooming depicted positively then the writer is a man

Woman can be just as creepy but people tend to ignore that possibility and thats harmful

Edit: i genuinly think either youre stubborn or mentally stunted, so im going to say this in a way you can understand

FEMALE PEDO JUST AS BAD AS MALE PEDO, ME WANT TO CORRECT PERSON WHO ASSUME WRITER TO BE MAN BECAUSE WRITER NOT MAN IT WOMAN, ME CORRECT THIS BECAUSE USAGI DROP KEEP GETTING USED AS EVIDENCE OF MALE MANGA WRITERS BEING CREEPS BECAUSE PEOPLE KEEP SAYING WRITER IS MAN WHEN WRITER NOT MAN, WOMAN IS CREEPY BUT PEOPLE KEEP FORGETTING WOMAN CAN BE PEDO

there you go you dumb fuck, i tried being polite but atp im genuinly bored of this conversation, if you cant understand what im trying to say then maybe you should try going back to school

They literally already said "It doesn't make it better", you're boxing shadows here

But they spent two paragraphs defining a distinction

Something's happening that they think makes it different

Just curious what it is

They straight up explained that the reason they clarified.

They want to fight against the assumption that all creeps are guys. Unless you take an issue with pointing out women can be creeps too, there's no reason for you to be fighting against this so hard.
