I had one under my eyebrow from a scooter crash and it took a few months until I couldn’t feel that lump anymore.

So that's the third eye those crystal ladies always talk about, I guess he figured out how to open his third eye.

u/mcfarmer72 1d ago
My luck I’d have a cordless.

u/flatoutsask 1d ago
I was worried they were running… much harder to acheive with a corded…. But a cordless. That is even more cutting …😕

u/work_work-work 1d ago
The advantage of a cordless is that you can turn it on. Disadvantage is of course that you have to get close to use it.

This may two of the stupidest people in the world. You roll up in a rage and one dude has a weapon and you do not. Human survival instinct says "run like a jack rabbit"
This muthafucker took like 3 rounds with Prime Tyson from angle grinder guy and then came back for more and started his own Tyson routine.
Jesus christ do these fuckers have any survival instincts at all?

Big dude appeared to have a wrench in his right hand

Corded angle grinder > wrench in hand.

Because of the cord. The weight means slower attack speed but the cord allows for long-range attacks. Gotta add this to my DnD
6
u/RevLoveJoy 1d ago
Other consideration is corded grinder dude absolutely must win initiative or wrench man is gonna wreck him in 1 round.
8
u/jgo3 1d ago
Wrench dude should have moved in close instead of trying to dodge Grinder man. In a world of swinging grinders and haymakers, the straight blast down the center line works wonders.

u/nameless_me 1d ago
This is the correct martial arts thinking. An opponent who has a weapon with reach (stick, rod or corded grinder) has the advantage from the length of the weapon. The way to remove the advantage is either to remove yourself from the danger (i.e. run away) or if you seek to confront that threat, move *inside* the reach of the weapon. Grinder guy was shorter. Wrench guy was taller. Wrench guy should have closed the distance and used the wrench.
Staying within the perimeter of the reach of the weapon is a sure way to get bonked.

Like every road rage incident, way more pride than intelligence. There is nothing you could say or do to me that I would get put of my car and engage out of anger. I just want to go home and see my family.

Whoever said cordless is King, has clearly never had to fight with one. Although thinking about it, that could wind up far messier than the corded route.

Me, a conoisseur carrying a power bank so that my corded angle grinder is plugged in and turned on while I swing it like a medieval flail

u/OldCatPiss 1d ago
Or get cordless and tie a chord on.

u/GabeIsGone 1d ago
Pro-tip: Make it a bungee cord so you get that extra extension. Could save your life.

u/flatoutsask 1d ago
A bungee cord could make it come back and bite you.
4
u/GabeIsGone 1d ago
That's why you use that momentum in a figure 8 and return it back into the next attack.
Disclaimer: I have no idea what I'm talking about, but I've played Mortal Kombat

I’ve been watching mma for 20 years, and I don’t know if people will believe this: not one angle grinder, not once

Homie wields corded angle grinder like nunchucks aka nunchakus. Assault with deadly weapon is what I see.

Good rule of thumb…never…never ever get out of your car for dumbasses like this. It’s not worth it.

If the guy you are fighting tanks several hits with an angle grinder it might be time to rethink your strategy.
2
u/LangdonAlg3r 18h ago
We’re clearly missing some of the good part here. I thought that guy got the giant welt on his forehead after getting clocked with the angle grinder—but look closer and that was there before he even got hit.
2
u/fakeballz 17h ago
Cordless grinders are more efficient for work. This is what grinders with cords are for.
2
u/Yakkamota 11h ago
At least they're gentlemen and didn't resort to using guns. More to the point, if they had guns would they have used them? Doesn't that mean guns are inherently more dangerous purely on the fact that them existing indicates confrontations will definitely factorize their use case by a percentage of people undefined?

u/gimmeecoffee420 1d ago
Idiocy aside, did you see that lump on the bigger dude?! Inflated his eyebrow like a balloon filled with blood.

I love that they both had angle grinders! I sincerely hope the tall guy had a whole assortment of tools in his vehicle and deliberately grabbed the angle grinder to make it a true gentleman’s duel.
Side note, I’m in the process of moving to Phoenix and I only have a cordless angle grinder. I need to pick up a corded version so I can be combat-ready.

Lordy... taught me a lesson never to fuck with a guy with an angle grinder. First guy had his forehead rearranged.

u/Apart_Butterfly_9442 1d ago
I truly thought the tall guy got hit with a fish smh cause I have no idea what an angle grinder is

u/chucklesses86 23h ago
Does everyone who comes to Arizona get an angle grinder? Like, "Welcome to Arizona, check out the Grand Canyon, and oh, don't forget your complimentary angle grinder."

Black dude got the worst of it
That said I was born and raised here in Arizona and I remember the traffic and road rage was never this bad untill all the transplants started moving here and fucking everything up
I carry concealed everyday not just because of road rage but my fear is being caught in a store during an active shooter situation and having nothing on me to defend me or my family so even if it's just a quick ride to the store I always have it on me
