I'm not asking about the driver. I'm asking about the guy on the trailer holding onto the generator from the side of the cliff. There is no way he made it out.

Yeah, he's fine - if you look, he's walking round the front of it just before it goes over, then you see home clambering out of the bushes just at the end of the video. Bloody lucky though

Yeh you right. How?!!!

It's crazy - if he hadn't been walking round the corner at just that second, he'd have been a goner for sure

You right. My b. At 11 left. He got the long sleeves on at the front of the truck. Driver only has the reflective vest.

That dude was on his phone. If he had been paying attention he could have caught it like a good industrial generator spotter

I was gonna point this out indeed.
Of all the times to be scrolling Reddit the man chose the precise moment he was actually needed as a spotter đŸ¥²

Your eyes are better than mine. My immediate thought was it could be a walkie talkie to communicate to the driver that he was about to die.

It is not lost and it is not a generator. It is that big tranformer down there at the bottom of the hill.

I vote for the guy who signed off on the route plan.

I was just thinking what about the pilot? How did he manage to guide this so badly?
Poor dog near the end must have been shocked.

Yeah but renting SPMTs costs way more money than just getting the biggest truck you can find. It's never gone wrong before!

I initially read this as a generation, and felt sad that necessary skills were lost….

The guy holding the generator up did a terrible job of stopping it from falling over

Generator has to be put in the trash now or they can use it for arts and crafts.

Should have had another truck on the front or in the back for more horsepower

u/eyeball1967 1d ago
It seemed to be more of an issue with the camber of the road than than a lack of horsepower. It’s hard to tell but it might have slipped off the edge of the road as well.

A loss was generated.
