Its actually easier for me to sing like that than in my normal voice. So personally I don't think she's a great singer. Especially those high notes. People who arent faking this style can really belt it out but still stay raspy which she is not doing lol

That may be why I’m not a fan, I know it’s never really “authentic” in this day and age unfortunately. We’ve outgrown our Mae West accents :( I didn’t love Amy Winehouse’s music either and I know I’m asking for a fight with that. I did like Macy Gray, but she actually speaks like that

I’ll never feel comfortable or sexy when I hear “onlwannabewithyuhhoooahh” so touche
