SMH Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff to Vladimir Putin today: “You talk so much about Trump being a humanitarian, you are a humanitarian also, sir. And I salute that. I commend you.”

They are winning.

All these people are getting extremely wealthy selling out their country. People really need to stop convincing themselves these are all idiots who don’t know what they’re doing

Right. Wait for all those pardons

They won’t even need pardons. The US government has never and will never hold itself accountable.

Trump literally tried to overthrow the government and got elected again 4 years later. The American people just love to bootlick and will never demand accountability.

my one cosmic karmic hope is that trump dies and all of their pardons evaporate

It wouldn’t matter at all. You’ve gotta be insane to think the next administration will prosecute these people.

Somehow people think only the republicans are corrupt.

im not going to waste my time trying to explain the massive scale of corruption in the current administration. its so far and beyond anything we've ever seen

Yeah and if the democrats win the next election they will sweep it all under the rug in the name of “national unity” or some other stupid shit.

It’s exactly what the Biden administration did. These guys are all friends behind closed doors and they’re all getting rich together looting the country.

i feel that. but im also not going to pretend that any of this doge or project 2025 shit would have happened at all under a democratic administration.

3

u/Glum-Drummer-6302 11h ago

It wouldn’t have happened but they also won’t lift a finger to punish those who did it.

i mean trump did get convicted in NY state... and the cases in georgia and florida were strong

Let's not forget that the florida case ran out the clock with a corrupt judge by the name of aileen cannon who showed clear favorable bias towards trump in every single ruling. Multiple ruling had to be appealed and overturned by republican appellate panels.

Yeah no one was punished in either of these instances. Exactly as planned. There is no rule of law for the government. Mind blowing that people still believe there is

Biden's DOJ prosecuted like 1500 J6er's. They were also prosecuting Trump, until voters re-elected him. You can't prosecute a sitting president. Thank MAGA voters for being traitors. We're in this mess because of Republicans, not Democrats.

u/Glum-Drummer-6302 11h ago

You’re in this mess because the US has one of the most apathetic populations in the world. Americans are bred to get on their knees and blindly obey anyone with money.

Today is the result of decades of steady decline not 1 president or political party.

True. So many of our citizens don't even know how their own government works. Only around 30% of eligible voters vote during the midterms, and Congress is how laws are written and passed. The president has (or should have now with Trump) much less power comparatively. It doesn't help that our system was set up to override the will of the people with the electoral college, and racism is used to get people to vote against their own interests. I wish more young people would get involved. Millennials finally outnumber boomers.

yeah today is the result of specifically the republican party. the republican party is the one implementing all of these fascist and draconian policies. they are actively separating children and mothers. they are shooting citizens. they are implementing project 2025. Democrats are doing none of this.

1

u/Glum-Drummer-6302 6h ago

They do nothing to stop it either.

Can't we just do what Trump does and ignore the law? who gives a shit anymore if these criminals have pardons. lock 'em up anyways.

Oh they do know. they do. But people aren't good with numbers. Those numbers are so ridiculous large that people simply can't grasp how much power that means.

Money = Power

Yep, the oligarchs won the Cold War. They carved up Russia and now they get to carve up the US. All they had to do was lick the boots of a "strongman".

2

u/HueMannAccnt 11h ago

They are winning.

For now.

It all seems to be about short term gain, with little vision of a stable future.

People who do that are idiots; they might know a lot of things, especially to do with crime, but knowing lots of things doesn't necessarily mean you're "smart".

u/Vast-Calligrapher565 9h ago

Not the people who voted for him. Its funny they dont see that they are the ones who he fucks the most.

Hes talking about Republican voters. Theyre not winning shit.
