SMH Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff to Vladimir Putin today: “You talk so much about Trump being a humanitarian, you are a humanitarian also, sir. And I salute that. I commend you.”

America destroyed their soft power in less than two years and turned the country into the biggest bootlickers in US history.

Crazy part is the idiots who did it think they're winning.

Anything to spite the libs.

They are winning.

All these people are getting extremely wealthy selling out their country. People really need to stop convincing themselves these are all idiots who don’t know what they’re doing

13

u/Rope_slingin_champ 12h ago

Right. Wait for all those pardons

27

u/Glum-Drummer-6302 12h ago

They won’t even need pardons. The US government has never and will never hold itself accountable.

Trump literally tried to overthrow the government and got elected again 4 years later. The American people just love to bootlick and will never demand accountability.

my one cosmic karmic hope is that trump dies and all of their pardons evaporate

It wouldn’t matter at all. You’ve gotta be insane to think the next administration will prosecute these people.

Somehow people think only the republicans are corrupt.

7

u/superxpro12 10h ago

im not going to waste my time trying to explain the massive scale of corruption in the current administration. its so far and beyond anything we've ever seen

1

u/Glum-Drummer-6302 10h ago

Yeah and if the democrats win the next election they will sweep it all under the rug in the name of “national unity” or some other stupid shit.

It’s exactly what the Biden administration did. These guys are all friends behind closed doors and they’re all getting rich together looting the country.

5

u/superxpro12 10h ago

i feel that. but im also not going to pretend that any of this doge or project 2025 shit would have happened at all under a democratic administration.

3

u/Glum-Drummer-6302 10h ago

It wouldn’t have happened but they also won’t lift a finger to punish those who did it.

Biden's DOJ prosecuted like 1500 J6er's. They were also prosecuting Trump, until voters re-elected him. You can't prosecute a sitting president. Thank MAGA voters for being traitors. We're in this mess because of Republicans, not Democrats.

2

u/Glum-Drummer-6302 10h ago

You’re in this mess because the US has one of the most apathetic populations in the world. Americans are bred to get on their knees and blindly obey anyone with money.

Today is the result of decades of steady decline not 1 president or political party.

Can't we just do what Trump does and ignore the law? who gives a shit anymore if these criminals have pardons. lock 'em up anyways.

u/CupMassive2331 11h ago

Oh they do know. they do. But people aren't good with numbers. Those numbers are so ridiculous large that people simply can't grasp how much power that means.

Money = Power

u/Exciting-Emu-3324 11h ago

Yep, the oligarchs won the Cold War. They carved up Russia and now they get to carve up the US. All they had to do was lick the boots of a "strongman".

2

u/HueMannAccnt 10h ago

They are winning.

For now.

It all seems to be about short term gain, with little vision of a stable future.

People who do that are idiots; they might know a lot of things, especially to do with crime, but knowing lots of things doesn't necessarily mean you're "smart".

2

u/Vast-Calligrapher565 8h ago

Not the people who voted for him. Its funny they dont see that they are the ones who he fucks the most.

1

u/Trumpisanorangebitch 7h ago

Hes talking about Republican voters. Theyre not winning shit.

10

u/hjablowme919 12h ago

They actually think this comes from a position of strength. It doesn't.

3

u/TJames6210 12h ago

They don't think they're winning, they know they're winning. They're literally pocketing all of our tax money...

u/Additional_Cat_6715 3h ago

Is it really winning if you're destroying everything?

Every day brings a new mouth-dropping shocker. W. T. F.

I'm also surprised by how many Americans seem to think they just gotta elect someone better and it will be business as usual.

1

u/The_Tooter_Snooter 9h ago

I know maybe 5 people who are aware of how bad it is everyone else thinks, at worst, we can just elect someone new to fix this lol. They honestly think you can vote out fascism.

1

u/RMPY96 4h ago

I'm more talking about the damage to us foreign relations and the collapse of their soft power empire they spend so much time on building up. Watching it all crumble to nothing in less than 2 years is mindboggling. I dont think US citizens are ready for the amount of money they'll be missing out on because no one trusts them anymore. They have been proven to be too easily controlled by a single person and whoever controls them, and people are either supporting it, or they say strong words about it, but no one dares to stop them. They are enriching themselves over the backs of normal Americans, and the people just let it happen.

1

u/iamhmhdimobf 11h ago

Winning - really depends on what the goal is, and how low they are willing to go.

17

u/BiffyleBif 11h ago

Oh that started in 2016. Every single individual that voted for Trump in all three elections he participated in, is responsible for this. Same goes for anyone who didn't vote, and those that voted for people supporting Trump in any local, state and federal election.

7

u/LLILILiLIILILILILII 9h ago

It started in 2016, but I think most of the world was willing to give you the benefit of the doubt after kicking him out in 2020. 2024 was far more damaging.

The disdain towards the country that had 4 years of seeing what a lying, thieving moron this man is, and giving him a chance to have another go is orders of magnitude more severe than how we judged you the first time around.

2016 was almost just funny. 2024 shows that the USA is not a country that Europe should be too reliant upon.

7

u/CogentCogitations 10h ago

It wasn't less than 2 years. At a minimum it started with Trump's first term. Even when Biden was elected a substantial part of the country was still supporting and defending Trump and his policies. The world is smarter than just looking at who is the US President.

7

u/JizzlaneMaxwellHill 12h ago

It's hilarious because MAGA voters will be paranoid of Russian bot accounts but at the same time their orange daddy is bending over for Putin to put it in.

America destroyed their soft power in less than two years

and gave it to China.

The US also fucked world energy prices for the meme. Iran now knows they can close the straight whenever they want and America got literally nothing out of it.

1

u/kara_kittie 5h ago

I think that was Russia's goal and something they had been planning for years and years. It just took a long time to install the appropriate figures into the government.

I too, read reddit threads about soft power a year ago and now post about it every single fucking time I can.

2

u/GladlyShanghaied 7h ago

Well great for you! At least you're getting some kind of political knowledge off reddit

-1

u/XDVI 7h ago

Hhehehehe, yea, and everyone knows how cool I am when I put on my leather jacket and talk about soft power.
