An update about the old toothless friend taken from the streets

It's been 3 weeks since I brought him home, and I'm glad I did.
I was really apprehensive about homing a possibly feral cat, but you wouldn't imagine he came from the streets. He has a sweet and mellow disposition, loves pets and attention, and isn't skittish or scared of anything even at the vet. Also, he caused a grand total of 0 problems. No fuss about his isolation room, no meows or attempts to escape it, pays no mind to my other 4 very curious cats sniffing under his door or looking through the window, learned how to use the litterbox in a day, and takes his meds and bi-weekly fluid therapy sessions like a lil champ.
I wanna say he did cause a little trouble going through the ultrasound, but then again no cats like being their belly shaved and pressed for 20min. And while I was holding him down he did (gently) bite me with his whole 0 teeth, which was far cuter than he thought it'd be.
His health is fine, he's not out of the woods yet but we're getting there. Preliminary exam results point to him being renal though. More exams to come to make sure of that, but in any case, we'll handle it the best way we can. I guess being renal is another indication that he's an old boy, but otherwise still no idea about his approximate age.
I wanted to come back with an update with the pic of an old fat cat, but it might take a few months for him to chubby up. I'll continue working on that!

Awww sweet old toothless baby. If you’re trying out new wat foods for him, see if you can get Delectables Lickable Treats Senior Stew or Bisque. My senior loved those before he passed. I hope you can put some weight on the old boy and give him a good retirement. 🖤

This little old solider is probably just happy to have a warm home, food and love.
My mum has a stray that adopted her, he's such a gentleman and makes no fuss and gets on with the other cats cause he's no longer left out in the cold.
Give this little old man everything, he deserves it.
