Wow Rudy you just keep opening your mouth. The distant memory of you being a decent human being has faded into the background for sure

228

u/WearyCopy5686 Sep 08 '26

He has never been a decent human being.

96

u/Capraos Sep 08 '26

Yup. Pretty sure the only reason they actually went to take out the Mafia was just because it was a competing organization with the government. Not because of the violence but because of the money.

46

u/Known_Ratio5478 Sep 08 '26

He specifically targeted the Italian mobs while ignoring the Russian mobs that were growing at an alarming pace at the time.

9

u/Long_Procedure_2629 Sep 08 '26

Amazing he didn't get got

15

u/Sember Sep 08 '26

The mob was already dying from inside, he wasn't as important as it's made out to be

11

u/Relevant_Winter_7098 The Timeline Sucks Sep 08 '26

And he was using Russian mob intel to pick his targets.

This was the same time Trumps casinos failed and he switched to money laundering for Russians theough his other real estate holdings.

Rudolph Giuliani’s mother was from the Luchese crime family. His father was an enforcer for Rudy’s uncle who was a loan shark.

Rudy was the mafia.

Wayne Barrett exposed all of this years ago.

Btw, remember when Giuliani had Wall Street guys handcuffed and marched in front of cameras for a photo op that he was addressing white collar financial crime? Only one guy was ever charged. The rest were let go, charges dropped

Rudy’s been scum his entire life.

(Wayne Barrett was a crack investigative reporter from Village Voice who wrote excellent books. His book on Giuliani was called “Rudy!” And he wrote a book on Trump “Trump: The Greatest Show on Earth: The Deals, the Downfall, the Reinvention”)

No, but the memory was real. He was always a POS but people didn't know that. That's what kills me about people like Elon too, people used to worship him and call him IRL Tony Stark across the entire political spectrum. But couldn't keep his mouth shut, went full mask off and now he has to use his own kids as human shields because he's so scared of getting Luigi'd. So many people are willing to completely fuck their reputation and personal safety, just to earn more money when you were already rich enough to buy everything you and 5 generations of grandchildren could ever possibly desire

As fucked up as everything's been, imho he's still responsible for what may be the funniest thing to have ever happened in modern politics.

Four Seasons Total Landscaping.

I hadn't laughed so hard at anything in about a decade. Like, hyperventilating, sides hurt, can't make it stop laughter.

The whole thing was so on-brand for Il Douche and Rudy. OMFG.

3

u/yalateef11 Sep 08 '26

As someone who actually met that dude, I can confirm.

4

u/A_Nonny_Muse Sep 08 '26

Remember why Rudy decided to end "stop and frisk" policies.

A judge ordered that they either end the practice, or implement it in all boroughs. Rudy decided to end the policy entirely instead if applying stop and frisk in white middle class neighborhoods.

His stop and frisk policies was only meant for primarily poor black people. He was always a racist POS. And all his police chiefs were too.

3

u/WearyCopy5686 Sep 08 '26

And Pataki was as well. NY State was run by blatant racists back then.

3

u/BackgroundCream274 Sep 08 '26

During 9/11 he atleast pretended to be a decent human being. People just cannot keep their own foot out of their mouth. Zohran is awesome. These fuckers hate him because he’s successful and gets shit done. Also they’re jealous he’s not a pedophile or convicted felon. He also has all his natural colored hair. Sorry Rudy.

I heard today that a long-buried (deliberately?) air-quality report about the twin towers area after the destruction was found just last year. I'm guessing it says the air-quality was worse than the public was told.

If so, this will also be attached to rudy's "legacy."

Still waiting to find out the story.

15

It's surprising to me that Giuliani is a literal ghoul who most would never leave alone in a room with their children, yet he's still fighting for relevancy. It's pathetic how low someone like him can sink.

u/Ok_Star_4136 Royal Watcher Sep 08 '26

12

u/Mr-MuffinMan Sep 08 '26

Boomers really don't live in the same time as us.

My dad, who lived in NYC when Giuliani was mayor (and we still are here) says he reduced crime and that NYC was much safer than it is now (despite NYPD statistics literally contradicting this).

He still says stuff like "he really did numbers on crime. No other mayor made it as safe!"

12

u/smthomaspatel Sep 08 '26 edited Sep 08 '26

He saw a drop in crime for a bit. It was consistent with the same drop in crime that happened around the country. But being NY they were able to make a big deal about it and get national attention.

His Police Chief got a lot of credit for it. They put him on the cover of Newsweek. Rudy didn't like that the chief of police got credit for successful policing. So Rudy fired him.

8

u/Mr-MuffinMan Sep 08 '26

Not to mention the reduction of crime falls in line with the ending of the crack epidemic.

4

u/CharleyNobody Sep 08 '26

And with the legalization of abortion (1973) and easier access to birth control through Planned Parenthood in 1970s.

I worked in a hospital staring g in 1980 and “D&C for bleeding” (abortions) were on the OR schedule every day. At least 6 a day. This was before anti abortion nuts got powerful. Average people were fine with abortions - only a loud tiny minority were agitating against abortion. When Reagan got into office he made anti-abortionism a big deal. (Pat Nixon had been pro-choice).

3

u/elebrin Sep 08 '26

And the generally better quality of life that people were experiencing at the time. He was mayor through the late 90s, and everything was steadily getting better for everyone during that time. Yes, there was some bad shit going on, but people were just in general doing better economically during that time.

Crime had started dropping under Dinkins. I lived in NYC at the time. Dinkins stated Take Back the Night and gave us a card that gave us 15% off restaurant prices on either Tuesday or Wednesday night, I can’t remember which. So restaurants ran specials on that night and people would go out. It started a change in the city.

But NYPD’s own statistics show a drop in crime staring under Dinkins.

All Rudy had to do was shut the fuck up after he left office and he could have ridden on the 9/11 coattails forever but he tied himself to Trump and fell into disgrace

6

u/CharleyNobody Sep 08 '26

Rudy had a radio program in NYC after he left office where he ranted and raved over his rightwing agenda.

Did you know he forced Fox News onto cable when he was mayor?

Time Warner Cable refused to allow Fox News a spot on their lineup because at least 20 other stations were awaiting approval and TWC already had CNN, MSNBC, CNBC and NY1 on their lineup.

Giuliani threw a fit and took TWC to court. Giuliani lost and we all cheered. NYC knew Rupert Murdoch was a POS. It really seemed like we won at the time.

But there was a job called “Cable Czar” in NYC. A guy who ruled cable tv. Giuliani somehow got the current cable czar to resign (at the time it was said he was blackmailed) and Giuliani got a former law partner in the position of cable czar and the guy immediately overruled TWC and put Fox News on the air.

Giluaini was playing this game of blackmailing people through lawfare and other means to get what he wanted way back in 1990s. We hated him.

When he tried to run for senator from NY his numbers were so low he had to drop out and claim he was dying of cancer.

It’s amazing how people outside of NYC idolized him. We hated his dirty guts for so many things, like putting the Office of Emergency Management in WTC when he was told not to by FBI, NYPD and Secret Service. He also gave Motorola a no-bid contract for radios for FDNY that were never field tested and failed on 9/11.

Giuliani made NYC worse on 9/11. His actions killed firefighters. But since then, FDNY has turned MAGA (NYPD was always a MAGA force, but FDNY was different. Not anymore)

Funny how the people so worried about a Muslim mayor have no problems with the Muslims that gave Trump a plane, the Muslims that the US military will welcome for a fighter training squadron, Mohammed "bone saw" bin Salman and Ahmed al-Sharaa, a past ISIS/Al Qaeda fighter visiting Trump at the White House, or the Muslims that gave his son-in-law $2BN to "invest" for them.

Idk that it was more racist than we have been the last decade. It takes a lot of racism to elect someone like Trump, twice.

3

u/TrulyOutrageous42 Sep 08 '26

I think the distinction is that almost everyone in national-stage politics was racist to some degree in 2001. The national hysteria around islamophobia is hard to impart to people who didn't experience it, but it was pervasive. Now we certainly have more virulently unapologetic racists with no national trauma event to fall back on to justify it, but the majority of the liberals (actual leftists are rarely racist, let's be real) aren't on board with racism these days, while conservatives and regressives seem to have made it a policy choice because they think they can get away with it and also see this as their "last chance" before they lose the majority. (read: majority control of Congress, they've literally never been the majority, they're just good at looking like it because they refuse to back down and will lie cheat and steal to win)

I especially love how we are gaslit today about how no one was racist towards Muslims in the wake of 9/11. I remember Bush Jr. getting on TV and hearing the snippet from his press conference telling people to not be Islamophobic to American Muslims.

And every year, there was an annual event of some racists shooting and killing an Indian/Sikh for wearing a turban because apparently only Muslims/Arabs wear turbans.

3

u/TrulyOutrageous42 Sep 08 '26

I'm just saying, what if we went ahead and followed this logic. Muslims were involved in 9/11, so no Muslims at the ceremony. Christians were involved in SO many tragedies, let's bar any Christians from showing up such as, you know, the parents of those who died, just like there were muslims who died in 9/11 and their parents might be there to mourn them.

I know we shouldn't stereotype people, but racists sure are deeply fucking stupid as a rule.

oh. OH. It's the hypocrisy as a flex, how could I forget, they know what they're doing because stupid doesn't mean "isn't clever when it benefits themselves".

5

u/chinmakes5 Sep 08 '26

Oh please, as an old guy the 00s were nothing. We elected a black man as president. Yes it drove the racists crazy and they got louder, but most of us were good. When I was a kid in the 70s, the N word was used casually. I think I was in a pretty liberal area, we told ethnic jokes. Hell there was a sausage company in my town called Polock Johnny's.

Ethnic jokes were everywhere. We were on the East Coast. I kid moved in from Iowa. To tease him all the ethnic jokes became Iowa jokes. We realized that we didn't have to talk about the ethnicity, we all knew. I had a neighbor who proudly said that when a black family moves onto our block (probably 60 houses) he would move, happened not long after and sure enough he moved and he was a younger guy.

u/Beachboy442 Sep 08 '26

rudy offends me that he is wasting fresh air.....

u/Infinite-Ad-1055 Sep 08 '26 edited Sep 08 '26

Rudy is an expert at being offensive!

5

u/chinmakes5 Sep 08 '26

That is as logical as saying Christians should stay away from any memorials at the Oklahoma federal building as he was a Christian.

4

u/ivankova Sep 08 '26

Guiliani was the lawyer that defended the producers of OxyContin, which killed over 800,000 Americans

4

u/Former_Mobile3101 Sep 08 '26

Yeah let's not forget that Rudy was caught trying to have sex with a teen during filming of a movie. That scene stayed in the movie as well completely unscripted and unexpected.

That movie was borat subsequent moviefilm.

Nice piece of press for his failing podcast BS

2

u/NYJetliberal Sep 08 '26

As a Jewish person, I feel the need to point out this bigotry. When Nazis did this to my grandparents, people didn't speak up and then they ended up murdering us. Jewish people should be the first people to speak up against this Nazi like rhetoric. Shame on you Guiliani. Mondami will be a million times more American than you that supported the violent criminals that stormed our capital and beat police so they could end democracy in my country.

2

u/grahsam Sep 08 '26

What does it matter what Giuliani wants? He has disgraced himself and is a joke.

2

u/hottertime Sep 08 '26

Giuliani shouldn't go. He offends me. That should be enough.

2

u/nonyabuissnes_95 Sep 08 '26

Why does the guy on the left looks like i imagine a pedophile look at a child..

Nearly as disturbing as the cult guy who got asked why he owns a private jet and snapped

2

u/sharkbomb Sep 08 '26

rudy giuliani's ghoulish face would be a perfect illustration on the dictionary entry for bigot.

2

u/Tenn_Mike Sep 08 '26

It offends me that Rudy isn’t in prison for all of the crimes he’s committed since falling into Trump’s orbit. Fuck this guy.

2

u/ClassAdventurous4595 Sep 08 '26

Rudy should stay away. It offends everyone he exists.

2

u/Beneficial_Type_8810 Sep 08 '26

Hey Rudy theyre having a celebration for you at four seasons landscaping

2

u/larkfield2655 Sep 08 '26

Giuliani is the traitor. He supported Trumps attempt to overthrow an election.

2

u/Saphurial Sep 08 '26

Was he literally only in 4th grade when it happened? Christ I'm old...

2

u/Captdman92 Sep 08 '26

The amount of people who are like "This is X place not New York! We don't want a Mamdani!" really makes me thing they love being rammed with 0 spit by the gubberment and don't understand how socialism works

2

u/AdviceNotAskedFor Sep 08 '26

Rudy's just mad that he can no longer make money and brand himself as America's mayor.

Guys a chode.

2

u/Academic_Dig_1567 Sep 08 '26

Don’t forget what NYPD did to amadou diallo when Giuliani was mayor. It was endemic.

2

u/TentacleMonsterUwU Sep 08 '26

TIL Rudy Giuliani is still alive.

2

u/Jack__Squat Sep 08 '26

His teeth are making a break for it.

2

u/Solid_Signature_7447 Sep 08 '26

Their entire generation is offended we’re not going to maintain the same political ideology there’s did.

2

u/Exotic_Insurance_610 Sep 08 '26

Any recent pics of Rudy lately? Last i saw him he looked terrible.

2

u/Wooden-Hornet2115 Sep 08 '26

Why is Rudy smiling like a cartoon villain? Christ, they don't even try to hide it do they?

2

u/crabbywarrior Sep 08 '26 edited Sep 08 '26

It offends me that Rudy the perv is coming.

2

u/Glass-Carry-6717 Sep 08 '26

What am I missing…
Mayor Mamdani’s parents are of West Asian/Indian descent, so why is he getting blamed for 9/11 again???🥴🥴

→ More replies (3)

2

u/Hopinan Sep 08 '26

Google says over 60 Muslims died in the 9/11 attacks, including first responders, restaurant workers, office people, etc..

2

u/Far_Taste6405 Sep 08 '26

Every time I think about Anger Management I remember the line at the end when Adam Sandler says “you rule, Mayor Giuliani!” And cringe to the point of imploding and becoming a singularity.

2

u/flexiblefine Sep 08 '26

Zohran is America’s Mayor now, Rudy. Go away.

2

u/Responsible-Humor985 Sep 08 '26

He’s a Muslim of Indian descent born in Uganda. So he’s not even culturally related to those that attacked on 9/11. He’s also Shia Muslim, so he doesn’t share the same beliefs as the hijackers were Sunni.

2

u/VicGenesis Sep 08 '26

This the same dude that was trying to get sucked off by a "15yo" in the Borat movie? Cool.

2

u/Global_Lake_4432 Sep 08 '26

Osama woke us up to the Corruption of the US empire.

2

u/PapaGummy Sep 08 '26

I lived in Manhattan when that guy was mayor. He wanted NYC to host the Olympics, so prior to the visit by the Olympics Committee he had a lot of the homeless rounded up and disappeared. There were regulars in the places I went who had been in the same place for years that I never saw again. I didn’t care much for him before, but from that time on I despised him. His actions since have kept true to that form and I was never surprised at the depths he go.

2

u/MrBwnrrific Sep 08 '26

So he’s gonna say the same thing about Donald, who gloated on the day of when he found out about now having the tallest building in Manhattan

2

u/Mickey_Havoc Sep 08 '26

Racist old fuck

2

u/Khmakh Sep 08 '26

Rudy needs to have another press conference . . . At 4 seasons gardening lol

2

u/LexHanley Sep 08 '26

It offends me that Rudy Guiliani isn't checking the prison menu to confirm what's for lunch instead of tweeting. Guess we all don't get what we want sometimes, Rudes.

2

u/According-Horror125 Sep 08 '26

Giuliani aided in January 6th so he’s the real terrorist.

2

u/CodInternational1447 Sep 08 '26

Rudy
Needs
To
Shut
His
Ugly
Mouth

2

u/fobbybobby323 Sep 08 '26

You know what offends me more? Rudy not hesitating to take his pants off in Borat 2

2

u/Exact-Truck-5248 Sep 08 '26

Rudy's butthurt because NYC wouldn't elect him dog catcher at this point. Go away Rudy, and take Andrew with you
