Exactly this. Real feedback from people who actually like the brand is way more valuable than fake hype they paid for. More influencers need to realize “no” is an option, especially when the ask is shady or low effort.

Yeah this is the kind of feedback creators should be giving brands more often. If everyone just nods along for a paycheck nothing ever improves. You backing them and calling them out a bit is exactly how stuff gets better for everyone.

Let me guess, you're the sort of person who looks at someone wearing natural make-up and thinks it's bare faced?
Let's use common sense here for a moment - if someone has super light or sparse eyebrows... you think they're going to leave it au naturel when they pop on make up?
If it's not your face, keep them opinions internal.

They need to hear things like this. Especially from an avid supporter. This is what makes businesses better. Good on you as an influencer for not just doing what they told you to do.
