If the file is DoVi profile 8, it’s a known issue. Plex has acknowledged the issue, but see this post from today. Unclear if/when the fix will be released.

They are indeed 4k DoVi... okay thanks for letting me know. I guess I'll have to wait and stick with some of the 1080p content I have. Hope they get to it quickly! Never had an issue with Plex until now.

Zuno plays anything I throw at it. Same for Infuse. Just saying you have options.
