Did the lore confirm that the cat was actually sent on a mission? Or was Brig just tinkering around with the jetpack and let the cat play with it? The gameplay does not reflect the lore.

In the story time that they released, (as I recall,) Fika rummaged through Brig's schematics and seemed specifically interested in "Project Jetpack Cat." At the time it was framed as "she's so smart for a cat!"

Brig lowkey the dumbest person in the world. Find a random well fed "stray" cat on a military installation rock in the middle of the ocean. Better attach it to a flying weapon assuming it will know how to operate it properly let alone not go ballistic once it goes too far off the ground. The fact that it can operate it properly without jumping off and killing itself should already be a major red flag

Winston is a very specific & special science experiment that only produced a singl success due to the difficulty of gene editing.

Winton was purposefully genetically modified to be super intelligent. Brig has negative reason to believe Fika is smarter than literally any other house cat in the world

If the cat is way smarter than any animal and can heal allies from behind (which I assume was the plan) then I don’t think what she did was all that horrid, it’s not like a speaking cat but hammond doesn’t speak either and is clearly capable of a lot

I mean, we test in animals in real life… we do much worse than moira if you include farming as well. But we definitely don’t put cats in charge of weapons that can kill other people or the cat itself

the first set of le sserafim skins at least had a (non canon, ill grant you) video of brig and co going to the concert. also, brig is like 25, it's not that strange to believe she likes to listen to kpop.
