Vivek's campaign is done and I'm glad

What Vivek did to Amy, using her abusive mother in a campaign ad, is horrible straight up. But it is also a good thing that he did this because it proved he would've been a horrible governor. Absolutely no morals in doing whatever it takes to win. This is who he is. He would've destroyed Ohio if he won, ruining the economy and destroying the land to fill it with data centers, and now Ohio finally has a chance to grow again.

I also genuinely can not believe he doubled down on the campaign ad. He could've salvaged his campaign if he just apologized and denounced it. Instead, he clarified that he was responsible for the ad and wouldn't apologize. Republicans genuinely will never apologize for their actions.

That being said, do not get complicit. Go vote for Amy regardless to ensure her victory

I work with disabled adults. The amount of people that work in this field that voted for him after that despicable display was staggering to me.

Wow That's VERY telling about those people.

Most people view jobs as jobs, not as a calling. Someone can be a doctor or cop or priest and still be an utterly shitty person.

Assholes gravitate to those particular professions like mosquitoes to a porchlight.

It's the veneer of respectability they're craving, not the mission.

I'll call BS on that. All it takes for your local business to go under is for them to say something completely stupid attacking one of their customers.

The MAGA crowd simply revels in the fact that their entire persona is built around not apologizing for anything no matter the offense. They know what their politicians say is vile. But it gives them the green light to expel the nastiest vomit they've been holding in for years because "They're just telling it how it is". If they hold their politicians accountable, they'd have to start holding themselves accountable.

Hell, their parents were proudly wearing Trump gear and roared right along with the crowd.

I thought you were talking about the disabled adults. Like they were still voting for Trump.

I had a huge double take
