Odin Showcase Odin 3 Portal prices
What do you think? Day one?

Howdy! As you know, we have a couple of Odin sheets to help the community test games or add useful information for the AYN devices.
As time has gone by, it has become difficult to maintain them, and while we have a couple of volunteers, some tend to come and go.
If you are active in the subreddit and/or use them often (and are excel sheet savvy), send over a DM! Apologies upfront for not being able to keep up, since initially it was just me managing the entries.

Hey u/everyone,
Due to the high popularity of these handhelds, our community has been informing us about websites selling AYN devices and they're not affiliated with the company.
To avoid scams or overpaying for a handheld, make sure the website is only from AYN's website: https://www.ayntec.com/
Or from AYN's official Amazon and Aliexpress Shops:
https://www.amazon.com/s?me=AQ8MH5LD9VP09&marketplaceID=ATVPDKIKX0DER
https://www.aliexpress.com/store/1105261141
Additionally, all official AYN admin and staff use emails under the ayn.hk address. Anyone pretending to be a part of the company using a different email address should be dismissed immediately.
Sadly, online scams are more insidious as time goes by, and AYN cannot guarantee any sort of protection if you purchase from non-AYN official site and shops. With that said, we can all help make this community safe by informing each other and staying alert if you see any unofficial site selling AYN devices.
Likewise, when buying a used handhelds online, we strongly advice you purchase those from sites with customer protection.
Thank you for making this a safe and cool community!

I know, I know… Fortnite on Odin 3 means you have to root it.
I haven’t looked that much into it, to be honest.
My question is: is it ever going to natively support it with the stock OS with a firmware update? I feel like this was promised earlier this year and it never came to light.
Also; I love my Odin 3 Pro :)

I didn't see this topic being talked about much, anyone has tried docking their Ayn Odin 3. Is it possible to connect the device to a TV and play couch co-op game (overcooked 2) with my friends?

Hello, my question is pretty much the title. I already have a POCO F8 Ultra 16Gb Ram that I bought because I needed a new phone, and I chose this because I wanted to game too (I bought a peltier cooler and a gamesir pad too). Months passed and I realized that (at least for me) gaming on a device that you use daily for everything else too is just impractical. The battery tends to degrade faster, I'd have to use a fan attached to an outlet or a Powerbank if I don't want my phone to melt in my hands and other things. With the announcement of the Odin 3 Portal I don't know if buying would be a good thing for two reasons:
I don't do gaming much on my phone but I tried it and the S8E Gen 5 is so powerful, will I be disappointed by the difference in performance of the Dragonwing Q8 ( Snapdragon 8 Elite, basically)?
For future-proofing would be better to wait on a hypothetical handled with a 8 Elite Gen 6 or it's just useless to wait (asking for a price point perspective too because the current Odin 3 Portal 16Gb version is the maximum I'm willing to spend on something like this)
maybe some of you were in the same situation, I would very much like your opinion and advice.
thank you

Currently have an RP6 but have only been playing retro games. Looking to take the leap to an OP3. Thinking about getting the base since I have a 1TB SD card but will it significantly decrease load speeds for PC games?
Can I even play PC games off of a SD card?
What about all these new android ports, can I play those off the SD card or just internal storage?
For example if I wanna play GTAV, does that even fit on the 128?

This is the first time I’m ordering from Ayn official site. I understand there’s always some waiting time before the console is shipped. But I also read that Ayn has improved and has been reducing the waiting time significantly.
I’m wondering how long I’d have to wait for shipping? It’s been 3 weeks and it hasn’t shipped. I can’t wait to get my hands on the console.

For those that have a good memory, how long does it normally take before AYN starts selling their new handheld on AliExpress? Basically, should I put a Pre-Order on the Odin 3 Portal on the AYN site or wait and get it from AYN Official on AliExpress?
I got a good experience with AYN Official on AliExpress. Had a really good deal on my AYN Thor and it came under 6 weeks.

Now that the Odin 3 Portal price has come out, I am planning on getting the base version for $399 however the Odin 2 Portal also seems like a good deal to me. I have never owned a handheld before and my gaming laptop just died so I'm in search of a device that can be my main gaming device. I don't mind not having PC emulation but I might try a little switch emulation. My main use would mostly be visual novels, 3ds, 2ds, gba, ps2, ps1 emulation.
Can y'all help me make a decision if it is better buying the Odin 2 Portal base at $259 or Odin 3 Portal at $399? Thanks in advance.
P.S I'm from India, so going to ask my relative coming from Australia in January to get it for me so was wondering about shipping times if it will deliver before December end if I order today?

Premesso di essere un giocatore che scarica sono un gioco per poi cancellarlo per poi passare successivo, non li tengo contemporaneamente Dato ciò, conviene prendere la portal a 128gb? Oppure la Odin 3 ?

Currently I have RP6 with 12GB/256GB, should I sell this device and pre order O3P?

I just finished playing ff7 remake intergrade on the switch 2. It was great! Played smoothly imo.
I was wondering if anyone has gotten rebirth to run on the odin 3 max. Not the switch 2 version. But any version? I googled for answers a while back but months later with driver improvements and all. Im wondering if someone out there has gotten it to run?

Since the prices for the odin 3 portal is released, is it a good value for now and the future? or is it better to just get a normal odin 2 portal for much cheaper?
I would like to know if the upgrades in the portal 3 are worth it when compared to the 2. If I only emulate light pc games like indies, is the odin 2 portal still the best option?

Hi guys just have a question, the shipping dashboard on the ayntec website says that the last time they shipped anything it was on 10/15/26
Is they’re a reason why they haven’t shipped anything for the past 6 days? Any updates would be greatly appreciated.

I wouldn’t mind buying an Odin Portal 3 day 1 tbh, but for the sake of longevity I’d wait a few months if it means I’ll get a better made piece of hardware. Historically which batch (2? 3? Etc.) does Odin begin handling initial QA issues? Also how long do we typically wait between batches?
