She just pulls the wad out of her pocket. She doesn't even count it.

Reminds me of how my grandma used to give me a wad of bills. I'd try to refuse but she'd say "shush I know all young people need money. Don't let your mom see it"

And giving money hidden in the palm of the hand like a drug deal going down. Damn it, I miss my grandma.

Yeah, my grandma would catch me in the hall and go "psst!" "hey! cmere!" and give me money handshake drug deal style. Then she'd say "don't tell your mom" and do that thing where she points at her eyeballs and points at me. Miss her so much.

I saw my granny (my dads mum) slip notes into my mums bra 😂 like here you won't take it? I'll make you take it and down the cleavage it went lol

That’s hilarious. My granddaughter sticks her play money in my waistband like a stripper. I’m a middle aged dude and I can NOT figure out why she does it. 😂

Maybe you missed your calling in life lol

My Gigi (maternal grandmother) did that same exact thing to my mom 😹😂😹

That was all my Great Uncles when I saw them as a kid. 6 ft tall Sicilian men all giving me $20's like some mob hit was going down. Telling me not to tell my Aunt, who subsequently almost always passed me money either before or after.

Same. Leans in, palms me a couple 20s and either says, “Don’t tell your grandfather” or, my personal favourite, “Be good (then a mischievous glint in her eye) but not TOO good.”

She was the reason I have a sense of humour. I miss her.

Right! The secret money pass! Must be a universal Grandma thing! Your fond memories triggered my fond memories! Here's to your Grandma and mine and everyone who has fond memories of these little Grandparent moments. ❤️❤️

My grandad did this, he was proper old school cockney London geezer. Used to walk to his local football team and watch them every weekend up until his death at 97.

"'ere mate, stick this in ya pocket. Don't tell ya old mhan."

My grandfather died literally today. His wife, my grandmother died last march. I hope they’re together, wherever they are

Bro my grandma still does this...I'm 37, own a home and make good money. I went over last week to move some things around and carry some stuff upstairs where she just stores things in extra rooms, and as I was leaving I caught her trying to slip a $50 in my pocket.

I was like, "Grandma, I come over because I want to see you. You do not have to give me money for me to come see and help you with things 😂"

You’re so lucky to still have your grandma 🥹 I would say to cherish her, but it sounds like you do 🥰

She's the only grandparent I have left and I certainly do. I see her at least 2-3 times a week.

She loves telling stories and I love hearing them, so it's a win/win 😁

You should record her stories so you can pass them down.

We kinda did. One year for a gift we did one of those things where it sent her questions each week and she would answer them. Then after a year it turns into a book. It's probably one of the better gifts I've given someone; however, it would require the time to do it each week or trying to keep up with it.

She feels good doing that for you. I think you should let her. She knows she can't do much more for you now except be around and slip you a Grant here and there.

Mine would always say "I don't have to do anything but die and pay taxes, now take it and spend it on something fun."
