My father's funeral was last week. He retired from being principal of a small school about 30 years ago. There were dozens of "his kids" at the funeral and I can't tell you how happy that made me.
My grandma was a volunteer librarian and at her funeral there are so many "kids" who all showed up and all had such great stories about her. It made me really happy that she lives on in so many people's hearts. Sounds like your dad forever will too❤️
