Only a teacher not a principal, but I would love this. THose are some quality memories for life.

Our class teacher once allowed the whole class to camp in her garden when we were like 15. We'd grill and play with her little kids. The only rules were basically no alcohol or any other drugs, stay safe and behave.

It was such a great time and she was very beloved.

A couple of years ago we randomly met me at a bookstore and addressed me with my full name and the hugest smile before I even saw her. It's been almost 20 years and knowing someone remembers you like that makes me feel all fuzzy inside.

I was homeschooled, but one of my professors in college was famous for inviting his student to his house for crape crêpe parties and a went to one.

I hope he's around when I'm back in that area in a few weeks

Edit due to very wrong word use

Diction is important at a crepe party.

Thank you for pointing that out, I'd blame autocorrect but I think that one was totally on me

I really thought this was going to be a joke about you being homeschooled and your teacher also remembering your full name.

Your concept of a plan for a joke made me giggle.

I really did too.

"Well I mean I would hope she did. . ."

I went to a super small private high school and we had a few moments like these. There was the time we had a final exam at our teachers house a block from school because her cleaning lady was coming and she needed to be home, and the time when our math teacher invited us to her house before a big test she knew we weren’t ready for so she could tutor us (only four of us in the class). She baked cookies and everything. High school was amazing.
