Does anyone else use MCPE to unwind after learning code all night
picked up Python a few months back and my brain is fried by 11pm most nights. can't look at another terminal. found myself opening MCPE on my phone instead and just digging holes or laying down paths. no plan. just building. my teenagers got me back into it during their week here and now I play on my off weeks too. weirdly satisfying after a 10 hour site shift and two hours of debugging. the muscle memory of placing blocks feels like framing a wall. you just do it. last night I started building a rough version of my backyard shed because I couldn't sleep. got the walls up in twenty minutes and felt my shoulders drop for the first time all day. curious if others use it as a wind down tool or if I'm just rationalizing screen time. my coworker says mobile games are for kids but he also falls asleep to cable news so take that for what it's worth

Add-Ons/Tools/Packs Watchful Eye v3.16 is live — big update for blind and visually impaired Bedrock players, plus one honest known issue
--- Good afternoon everyone. Thank you for your patience. This is a big update, and it is officially up on CurseForge. Go ahead and download the new version: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft-bedrock/addons/watchful-eye
Watchful Eye is my free Bedrock addon that narrates the game for blind and visually impaired players. Everything that is new since 3.4:
- Guide Remote. Tap a block to save a bookmark, up to 10. Tap a player to track them.
- Home Arrow. Tap a bed to mark up to three homes, then hold the arrow and look up, down, or forward to find your way back.
- Player tracking now survives death and respawn.
- Coordinates readout, compass home finder, and player radar.
- Common ore ping, resource scan, placement echo and shape check for building, mob radar, TNT trap alerts, better lava warnings, and a bigger starter kit.
Bugs we fixed: tapping a bed to mark home was silently broken because Minecraft changed what the bed block is called — fixed. Duplicate tools in the starter kit — fixed. Bookmark saving by tapping — fixed.
One bug I am still working on, honestly: the clutch countdown for falls. It counts down so you can place a water bucket in time, but it is not always accurate and other alerts can interrupt it. For now, if you are falling, look down and keep tapping to place until you land. It takes practice, but it works, and it will have to do until I fix the countdown properly.
Sorry for the long wait. It is out now.
Questions Has anyone else been suffering lag spikes after updating to 26.52 ?
iPhone 14 Pro Max. iOS 18.6.2
I feel like before these last few updates, I used to be able to play quite smoothly maybe the odd lag spike that listed 0.5s here and there. But recently it’s been kinda bad, where even in creative mode in a flat world where I’m just building where it freezes up for 6-8 seconds and I might need to reopen the game.
I would’ve thought my phone would be okay with handling Minecraft with all its updates.

Add-Ons/Tools/Packs Can I share my Bedrock Dedicated Server project?
I don't know about you guys, but I hated managing Bedrock Dedicated Servers and manually installing the addons. It seemed like addon developers all do different things and having to find the UUIDs was a pain. But my kids want mods and modded bedrock on iOS often bricks multiplayer.
So I vibecoded Chroma Server Manger - a Bedrock Dedicated Server manager with built in CurseForge Addon support.
GYUZUEPVP_V.2 Minecraft Texture Pack
planetminecraft.comYo made my new pack Gyuzue V2.
32x tools and items, 16x blocks. Short swords and clean blocks for more FPS. Good for bedwars and crystal pvp.
Tested on 1.21+ Bedrock.

Add-Ons/Tools/Packs Made a clean 16x Bedrock PvP pack focused on mobile FOV & touch duels (short swords, low fire, live durability HUD)
Hey everyone,
If you play Bedrock PvP or server duels on a phone/tablet, you know how easily regular weapon models and full-height fire block half your screen.
I put together a clean 16x combat utility pack called Ultimate PvP aimed at solving that without cluttering the screen or tanking frame rates:
- Live Durability HUD: Real-time % numbers right above the hotbar so your armor never snaps unexpectedly in a fight.
- Low Fire: Fire height is pushed down below the hotbar so you can still see who you're hitting when lava/fire is involved.
- Short Swords: Compact diamond/netherite models that don't block your right thumb / touch view.
- Server & Realm Friendly: 100% client-side resource pack (no behavior pack or experimental toggles), works on Hive, CubeCraft, and Realms.
It's completely free on CurseForge (has both Pro and Lite versions for lower-spec phones). Let me know what you think or if there are specific tweaks you'd like to see!

Discussion should old minecraft worlds preserve the behavior they were created with?
minecraft worlds can survive through multiple updates, but the mechanics around them don't necessarily stay the same. farms may stop working, mob behavior can change, and old builds can end up relying on mechanics that no longer behave as expected
there's a tradeoff here. keeping old behavior could preserve technical builds, while changing mechanics lets the game evolve without carrying every old limitation forever
would you prefer better compatibility with older bedrock worlds, even if that meant keeping some outdated mechanics around, or should updates always take priority?

Questions Is it possible to run this 21 Add-on megapack (BPV+) on a mobile device without crashing? Looking for brave testers!
Hello everyone!
I’ve spent the last few days surgically curating the ultimate Vanilla+ immersive pack for Minecraft Bedrock (Version 1.21 - Tricky Trials). I call it BPV+ (Bedrock Perfection Vanilla+). My main goal with this setup is to achieve Java-level modpack immersion but perfectly integrated into Bedrock's engine, completely free of messy RPG interfaces.
However, I have a huge technical question: Is it actually possible to run all of this simultaneously on a high-end mobile device (Tablet/Phone)? What hardware specs would a device need to sustain this without crashing due to RAM limits?
Here is the exact load order and add-on list I want to implement:
Marketplace Add-ons (Paid):
- RealismCraft 2.5 (By Spark Universe)
- Naturalist 26.1 (By Starfish Studios)
- Plenty of Mobs (By Owls Cubed)
- Actions & Stuff 1.11 (Animations)
- Carts & Carriages (By Polymaps)
- Slingshots Add-on (By Polymaps)
- The Celebration Food Add-On (By Overtales Studio)
- Farms + Foods 3.2
- Furniture 2.1 (By XP Games)
- Sit On Everything 2.1.0 (By Owls Cubed)
- Cinecam Add-on (By BLOCKLAB Studios)
CurseForge / Community Add-ons (Free .mcpack):
- DoubleHands (Universal off-hand functionality)
- Sword Blocking v1.11 (By TrueCowboy)
- Stackable Potions x16 (By Workgang177)
- The Lost Mobs (Mob vote rescues)
- 4 Specific Biome Mobs by Bobicraft ( Bobi Votes ) (Pale Creeper, Grumpy Ghast, Warped Spider, Ignither)
- Lapis Golem (Player-built only)
Native Experiments Active:
- Villager Trade Rebalance
- Vibrant Visuals
- Minecraft 26.45 para Bedrock Edition
Theoretically, I’ve balanced the spawn caps and scripts (biome-specific mobs, lightweight utility systems, etc.) so they don't fight for the same core files.
Is anyone brave enough to stress-test this setup on their current device and share the performance results? What are your thoughts on potential file conflicts or RenderDragon limitations with this specific list?
Thanks in advance for the technical feedback!
I would appreciate it if you could post your answers and details here, and also let me know if there is a brave tester for Minecraft Bedrock add-on packs.

Questions Ancient Debris Level
Trying to locate Ancient Debris for the first time in my (survival) Forever World. According to what I've looked up, it says I could begin to find it on level Y-15 or -16. But as you can see when I get to Y 5 I start to hit bedrock, and I've tried going further past but there's even more bedrock so I know I can't go any lower. Am I reading this wrong?? I know Ancient Debris is similar at finding diamonds, it's not going to be found very often. But mining at level Y 15 for over 100 blocks I didn't even find one.
