[LOS 23.2] Unable to add any account after clearing Google Play Cache&Data

Hello everyone,

yesterday, I cleared Cache and Data for Google Play Store and Google Play Services, as well as removed my Google-account after what appeared to me as a storage-issue.
The initial problem aside - since then I am unable to add any account.

When trying to do so ...
* I navigate to Settings -> Passwords, passkeys and accounts -> + Add account
* I select the account-type I want to add (e.g. Google, Dropbox, whatever ...)
* The screen changes to "Checking info ..." and promts to verify that it's me (biometrics/pattern)
* Reverts back to the "Add account"-screen after verifying, with no further action taken

This behaviour is identical, when trying to sign in via an app (e.g. Profile -> Sign in in the Google Maps app).

Has anyone ever ran into similar problems or can direct me towards a solution without a complete reinstall?

Just uninstall updates of google service, thats for now...

setting -> apps -> google play services -> 3 dots (up right) -> uninstall update

"..." in the top right corner.

I was going crazy for hours to fix this by clearing data of google play and play services but finally this worked. thank you.

Flashing the latest gapps (MindTheGapps-16.0.0-arm64-20261021_084306) will fix this issue.
