For real though fucking Fortnite adding a rape victimwhose personhood was stolen and had her body used as a fuckpuppet by her incel stalkeras a playable avatar during Halloween (presumably because she's a """slasher villain"""???) is beyond disgusting. But what else can you expect from Epic?
EDIT: After coming in a little hot I think I want to clarify my position from a comment in the thread. I think the issue is ultimately overall one of sensitivity. It's a bit yikes that nobody involved seems to have grasped badly how this could be read. I think the best way to describe it is "tone deaf" given the discussions sparked by the movie. I might personally think it's stunningly tasteless and a giant social media "kick me" sign but don't think it's malicious.
