Self-submission A Well Protected Picnic

Sometimes you really need to ensure tea and cakes is not interrupted.

Context:

Basically this is on one of the old ringworlds used to hold important wormholes during an in-setting war. Haven't done the ringworld in model yet, but future goal. Anyway, the turrets are meant to go all the way around the ring and if anything comes through the wormhole... well, you can guess.

The image itself is way post war. The guns have only been retained for sake of using them as very expensive fireworks essentially and so you get: A very well protected picnic.

Yeah, energetic discharge in atmosphere is kinda like lightning. The shockwave made scales based on the power as the air is super heated. So depending on the power of these weapons platforms you could have a very short picnic when one fires.

It would take absolute confidence that the opposing side of the hole didn't send a dirty bomb through or adopt a kamikaze-logic.
Losing a ring-world would hurt.

The brick texture was already in bad shape on the first picture, firing the guns seems to have knocked it completely out of place. Look at the sloped sections just above the third level of the stepped part on the bottom.
