It’s their operating principle, they got it from the Germans in the 30s

Republicans (formerly Democrats) have been doing this in the so-called United States for centuries. Germany used some of the U.S. Amerikkkan play book...we're just continuing what we know here in the States.

Here in America, we have not been taught in school how the Nazis admired how we exterminated the Indigenous Americans, used gas chambers to “delouse” Mexican at the southern border, and implemented Jim Crow Laws.
One of many reasons why the GOP has systematically destroyed public schools.

It's so crazy how things like this seem to continually happen with this party.
Almost like they are consistently telling on themselves. 🤔

Democratically elected Muslim Brotherhood by the way. Egypt's first democratically elected president ever (I think).

Yeah I think their name makes them easy to demonize in American media but they're a much more complicated and older movement than the salafi jihadi organizations I think a lot of people assume they are when they hear the name
Not to say they're perfect or always peaceful or even admirable but they are different

Rogers is obviously horrible but on this he was actually correct, America's hostility to morsi and their decision to accept and support sisi overthrowing him was both immoral and made the middle east a less stable place by saddling Egypt with a weak, unpopular and ineffective government
He was also probably correct that constructive engagement with the brotherhood was possible, they are not al qeada, they are a very deeply rooted movement in countries like Egypt that touches many aspects of society it's not a small monolithic clique of radicalized cadres

Sure, but that allows nuance they did not allow with gotcha questions about renouncing the Muslim brotherhood

Has Mike Rogers denounced the Muslim Brotherhood? Better vote for Abdul to support America!

u/soxperry 5h ago
Just ask Rogers if plans to sanction any country who doesn’t denounce the Muslim brotherhood. Spoiler, some of them are our allied countries

Jesus, I wish I could be angrier. But I'm not. That may be the whole point. Apathy usually leads to indifference, but not in my case. Just more and stronger determination to rid this world of these fascist c--ts.

I ran this through ny handy-dandy Fox News headline generator:
Muslim Brotherhood should have a say in how America is governed, says Mike Rogers.
