Notice from the Syndicate Facebook GROUP MOVING!

Hello, Crawlers!
We wanted to share an important FACEBOOK GROUP update with everyone. Because of ongoing differences with the page’s owner, the moderation team will be stepping away from the big yellow heart Facebook group effective TODAY October 19, 2026. At that time, the site settings will be returned to how they were when we began moderating the page in February. This is being done to bring you a group that will more closely align with the sites on Reddit and Patreon with which we are affiliated.
Here’s what that means for this group:
• Posts will no longer require approval.
• Moderation will be limited to the AI auto-moderator.
• Casting posts will no longer have restrictions.
• AI-generated content will no longer have restrictions.
• Links to merchandise sites—including unauthorized or pirated merchandise sites—will no longer be restricted.
Most importantly, thank you for being part of this community. Together, we grew the page from 26,000 members to more than 175,000 in just eight months—an incredible milestone that wouldn’t have been possible without you.
The moderation team and I will be moving to “ The REAL Dungeon Crawler Carl - Matt Dinniman Fan Group” which is active now and accepting membership requests.
OLD GROUP: 💛 Dungeon Crawler Carl Matt Dinniman LitRPG
NEW GROUP: 💚 The REAL Dungeon Crawler Carl - Matt Dinniman Fan Group
https://www.facebook.com/share/g/17oNQgMFjc/?mibextid=wwXIfr
The new group will follow the same rules you’re familiar with, while giving us access to additional settings and tools that aren’t available here.
Thank you again for everything. We truly hope you’ll continue the journey with us!
Now go out there and, well, you know what to do!

I don’t have much, I only DoorDash at this point for money. But I have set aside $45 a week for the last 8 weeks and have been able to put 3 new books in every week for about 8 weeks. Better than getting them hooked on heroin eh?
WELCOME CRAWLERS!!!
Edit: Removed an unnecessary S
Second edit: yo just because I don’t make much doesn’t mean that I’m not OK. Thank you for your concern, but it is my little way of giving back.

"Goddammit, Donut, stop magic missiling birds. You're basically a beacon for mobs when you do th-"
"YOU KNOW HOW I FEEL ABOUT PIGEONS, CARL!!!"
Decided to have a bit of fun with the prompt today since I really didn't know how to approach 'Beacon'. I may color it later but figured I would share since no one else in my life has read the series. 😭
And pardon the handwriting, it's awful, I know.

Book 1: DCC General question about the Audiobooks

Upvotes
Do the Audiobooks add more to it than just what the books say? Like does it not follow the books? I’m listening to book one, but it seems different than what I read.

I just had to buy them all.Happy to read the Series after listening to the Audiobooks.

Finally decided to take the plunge and grabbed all available Hardcovers. I'm located in Germany but I decided to go with the US Ace Editions due to being stitched rather than glued.
DCC has been an absolute blast to listen to but now it's going to be an absolute pleasure to read ( plus the Pineapple Cabaret.
The only thing bothering me is that the copy of Parade of Horribles ended up being the Ace International Printing...
( Purple Cover rather than Black Purple Cover from the OG Ace Edition.)
If anyone can hook me up with the correct ISBN etc for the Black & Purple non International Ace Copy id really appreciate it.
I cant be the only one who Listened to the Audiobook,Audio tunnel Series & read the webcomic right? ( of course I'm not)
DCC is one of my favourites so I just had to double dip so to speak.

[Recommendation] This year I joined the DCC cult. On my third trip through the Audiobooks. I also enjoy 'Welcome to Night Vale' - which seems like something other Crawlers might enjoy. Just in time for spooky season. (PSA: "Dogs are NOT allowed in the dog park")

Saw the (Parade of Horribles) book cover on a recommend FB group. A flying cat wearing sunglasses and a tiara? I'm in! What could possibly go wrong?

Three weeks later, I laughed, I cried, I'm in a major sleep deficit. Cannot wait for book 9! You know how I feel about starting a series I can't finish, Carl.

Was able to get all 80 cards from the first set not including the green inserts since the artwork is the same but thought it would be cool to show every card in one post.

Boyfriend can't take me seriously anymore :)

I don't know if anyone else with a Carl in their life has had this experience, but my boyfriend can't take my irritation seriously anymore. I was the one who got him into these books, and he has been churning through the audiobooks faster than I can believe.
Unfortunately, now neither of us can take me seriously when I'm irritated with him. Anytime I say his name with annoyance, or when I think something is obvious, we both think I sound like Donut.
Examples:
- We talked about this already, Carl. Focaccia is a kind of Italian bread.
- Why would I want to go to that event, Carl? You know how I feel about work parties.
- How many times do I have to tell you, Carl? The part you can see on the outside is the vulva, not the vagina.
PS. This is all in good fun. We still communicate like adults, but now we laugh because I sometimes sound like a talking cat with strong opinions.
