This is Hang Sơn Đoòng, the world’s largest cave, located in Phong Nha, Vietnam. It contains an entire rainforest, underground rivers, and even its own weather patterns that generate internal fog and cloud formations.

Sleeping in a cave like that would be cool, but scary at the same time 😂

Always remember Kitum Cave. People who have slept there came back with the Marburg Virus turning their bodies into.

Goo, it turns their body into goo. And I wish I were kidding...

Wish I could be there right now rather than sitting here at work.

Edit: It's 11:30PM in Vietnam, I take the wish back, that would be scary.

You can do multi-day treks! So you would camp inside the cave come nighttime

I'll be visiting next year

How expensive are we talking. Might put it on the bucket list for when the kids eventually leave home.

Check the OXALIS site, around 70$ for a day trip

Surprisingly affordable, the most expensive tour is $3K USD and includes meals and everything.

Unless you live in or near Southeast Asia, the most expensive part will likely be getting to/from Vietnam.

They have a bunch of different tours: https://oxalisadventure.com/adventure-tours/

Looks like the genesis cave from Wrath of Khan

Incredibly, the cave was discovered 8 years after Wrath of Khan came out
