I’m dog sitting my grandmas dog. He is a 14-year-old rat terrier/chihuahua mix. I’m Ngl I’m used to cats. How much sleep is normal? It feels like he is sleeping a lot. I know I could just call my grandmother but she is dealing with my uncles surgery and I don’t want to bother her if it isn’t emergent. He’s probably sleeping like 16+ hours a day. He seems happy and content is eating and drinking fine no potty issues. I’m just a little anxious.

Stevie had her surgery today. She's doing very well. The surgeon said we'd get the results of her biopsy, to determine if it's a high grade or low grade mast cell tumour, in about 10 days.
the good news is thar very recently, just last week, we had done an abdomen scan because she was having some stomach issues. No lumps, growth or tumours in her abdomen which the doc says is a very good sign.
please keep her in your prayers and send good vibes.

This is how he sleeps when I go out for an hour or 2...It doesn't matter if I am just going to the supermarket but if he's not going out which he mostly prefers...then this is how he sleeps, like, "Uff, finally, I am free to sleep and snooze, lol!"

Okay so I've had this toy for a little while now(got from Ross or Marshalls not sure which) but my Shih Tzu Juju is absolutely OBSESSED with this stupid pink goose, he really puts his back into squeaking it and he literally sounds like he's speaking in animalese (animal crossing fans would know all too well lol) anyways we call it his "diary" and he's typing out his day for us hehe, but I'm so worried that one day he'll finally break the squeaky like he does all of the other toys so I want to buy at least one more for a backup goose for him. I've even tried finding it through Google lens and am not able to find it ANYWHERE 😭😭 if anyone can help me find where to buy this goofy little goose please let me know, and thanks in advance!! 🥺
