Ideas & Inspiration Kickstarter Tips for Late Campaign Momentum

I am close to my Kickstarterrr goal for my board game series Dual Fires, with a week to go. Do you all ever see games run any promotions or bonuses to encourage people to pledge before the deadline? I toyed with the idea of some sort of discount or bonus thrown in the last week, but I don't want to frustrate those who supported me early on. Any thoughts or recommendations?

A lot of campaigns prepare videos, competitions, give aways, ect. to be released later in the campaign to cover the "slump".

Is this your first time using KS?    Have you not reviewed other game campaigns?

Yes-  many games offer KS exclusive bonuses or stretch goals for people to buy in.

Sorry if my question was unclear - I am familiar with stretch goals that apply to all backers. My question is more around offering any specials specifically just to folks who back at the end of a campaign. I haven't seen it done and have concerns about it offending early backers but wanted to gather thoughts from others with experience

I understand.    That is not something I have seen.   And I would not really recommend it.

If you offered something for late backers only, if I was someone who already backed it would be upsetting.    What is the incentive to support you from the beginning if I would get a reward for waiting?

Get less for being an early supporter is a bit of a slap in the face.   If you offer something to late backers, you need to also provide it to those that already support you at no additional cost.

Honestly, only way I can think of to get more at back end is to offer more products as add-on, or offer stretch goal incentives.
