ID Request - location included Hey all, I caught this beautiful huntsman today. Would anyone know if it is male or female and what kind of huntsman it is?

Smaller abdomen and long/skinny legs are leading me to believe this is a male. But I’m not a spider expert and only have my info from hours of scrolling through this community. Would anyone know? Thank you! Newcastle, NSW

It is only about 2cm maybe 3, definitely smaller than a 50c coin.
Put a coin in a similar position to give an idea of size.

this is in Perth

Altopiani del Queensland settentrionale, ho trovato questa piccola e strana creatura. Qualcuno ne sa qualcosa? Sicuramente è un ragno perché il corpo principale è quello classico, ma quello "scudo" giallo e nero mi sembra molto strano.

Snack time for this mottled lovely. Found on my garage door in South Australia yesterday. She's probably still at it. She wasn't big at all, probably thumbnail sized.

Spider Appreciation I have to thank this sub …

For the longest time I was absolutely petrified of spiders. I couldn’t even look at them online … thanks to this sub, I can actually look at spiders online and off … if I see one in my home, depending on size, I get my cousin to remove them for me, it’s not an instant freak out, kill the spider thought anymore …

So thank you 🙏
I reckon if I saw them close up I wouldn’t be so scared, as I’m absolutely fascinated by their eyes. They’re just the cutest things …

Hi all,

I found this spider in my garage (western suburbs of Melbourne) this morning and moved them outside. Once I started moving it outside then it also spread its legs out more. I couldn't get any better images sorry. One is digitally zoomed in 2X and the other 10X.

Thanks everyone.

Noticed this little guy hiding in some leaf litter. We have pets so wanted to check if potentially venomous.
