Hello, I'm soon finishing high school and I'm planning to enroll a university (Information Design). I grew up with a charger-bound thinkpad that smelled like burned plastic and death after 15 minutes of watching youtube. I thought about buying a Macbook M3 16/256gb (I'd be using stuff like Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator). I understand that 256gb is small. I have a PC I use for games and it takes a big chunk of my storage. So I obviously thought about buying a 1tb external ssd to have for my Macbook. Nope. Literally everywhere I went people were BAWLING about how horrible that is, god forbid, carrying a 150 gram plate along with your laptop, so inconvenient! Why? What's so wrong about external SSDs? I'm on a tight budget so I REALLY don't want to pay 200$ for a storage upgrade.

Because all the other explanations I’ve read have made me feel stupid. And I’m starting to think I am.

Hello!

I am wondering if anyone has used a wireless HDMI for gaming? I am only a casual gamer, but I am still interested to know if anyone has used one and has any experiences with lag?
