It took me until the bloody baron storyline before I was hooked originally. Then I was like “holy shit this game actually has character”. I just started playing again because of the remaster
Somethings gone wrong with my brain recently and I just can't deal with all the reading on a lot of games. Witcher 3 has a hell of a lot of reading. I blame it on short form video content rotting my brain (strange as I've not got a problem reading books). Especially as I've not played 1 and 2 and although I heard you don't need to, it feels like something is missing.
Ehh it was the combat that got me its just not great. So the game ended up being wadding through combat sequences just to get to another cutscene. Once you figure out the combat you can easily kill monsters 20 to 30 levels higher than you and it just becomes a slog to sit through. But like I still enjoyed the game but it became one that I never got to the final boss for.
Same. 3rd attempt and it’s finally clicking in a way it never has before. Maybe part of that is playing on switch 2 allows me to just pick up and play in smaller chunks. Just got to the temerian camp outside novigrad in my search for Dandelion. I’m hooked.

witcher 3: the wild hunt
my 3rd playthrough and I’m loving it. Has to be one of the greatest RPG’s of all time
