Ace Combat 8 was one of the few recent games that brought a big, dumb smile to my face multiple times. It's probably up there with Zero as the best in the series.
I didn't even notice the Ladon mission being that hard and I just thought we were meant to switch to our guns for Shadow 22.
It was kinda BS that his flares deflected missiles fired after they disappeared, though. In the mission where you're escorting the shuttle, the other shadows also had crazy amounts of flares, and I had to bait them with a missile then fire the second shot after they disappeared. I tried that on 22 and his flares deflected the second shot after they disappeared.
Aaah okay, i just sprayed a with the gun and got lucky with hitting 22 which i felt made tge other shadows much easier. But can imagine that fight could be a pain lol.
Good to see they do some updates. Hope they manage to keep multiplayer a bit more interesting, it has some serious potential
