Oh nice. How is it? It’s sitting in my backlog. I’m slogging through the end of Starfield, which has overstayed its welcome. I may need a break from large open world games for a bit, but thankfully I have a dozen other games to play in my backlog.

Coming from starfield it’s a breath of fresh air. It has its issues but overall amazing game. Issues being you can’t get through certain puzzles without googling. Combat is different, but you get used to it

But the world is among the best as are graphics and lots to do. Personally it’s one of the first games I’ve played that feels next gen. could play forever and not run out of things to do

Nice. I’m looking forward to it. Starfield was great for the first 24-48 hours or so, but it’s overstaying its welcome. There just isn’t enough enemy variety, mission variety, or location variety. I’m just trying to power through the main mission to see the ending.

Felt the same way. I went from “why does this game get so much hate?” To “I get why people hate this game” after the same amount of time.

I couldn’t power through the story cause traversal is so awful I just wasn’t enjoying my time. A space game where you can hardly navigate in your ship is just silly

Ehhh the best part of Starfield was the faction quests. The UC and Crimson Fleet could be main stories each on their own

How much dodging and parrying is in this game? It feels like all combat these days is entirely reliant on dodging and parrying and it fucking sucks.

It does have both but it’s moreso you smash the living shit out of everything. There are some skills you can take advantage of that make it more complex but it’s very arcade-ish

But yes basic level you are dodging and parrying just way more aggressive with attacks compared to an Elden Ring and way more tolerance to take hits

That's a shame. Thanks for answering.

Googling puzzles is the cheap easy way out. You can figure out every single one of them if you are educated

I loved it for a few dozen hours and then it got stale. After a while all the combat felt the same and the quests felt pointless. The world is really amazing but I can’t find motivation to explore. Glad it’s sticking for others though.

I get it and felt the same way. Took a bit of a break then picked it back up and once i decided to live with the parts i dont like it became more enjoyable for me
