This is lunacy, right?

Post image

An Islamic terrorist who belonged to Al-Qaeda and later Isis has been spotted shopping at King Charles’ local Co-op.

Mohammed Yaseen was free to walk the streets near Windsor Castle after he was allowed to stay in Britain on human rights grounds.

Yaseen was part of the Al Qaeda group that beheaded Briton Ken Bigley before joining a unit in Isis that carried out stonings, beheadings and mass executions.

He was released from prison last week after serving just six months of a two-year sentence for illegally entering the country on a small boat, following a near five-year prison term in Germany for his Isis membership.

The Foreign Office has raised concerns he could face ‘mistreatment’ if he were returned to Iraq because of his terrorist past, the Mail on Sunday reports.

Experts have said Yaseen could cost the taxpayer £85,000 as the Home Office pays for his stay in accomodation and his food allowance.

Chris Philp, Shadow Home Secretary, said: ‘We are paying through the nose to feed, clothe and house individuals who pose a clear threat. If Andy Burnham took this seriously, he would deport this man at once.’

A court in Germany heard in 2020 that Yaseen was involved in bomb attacks that killed US troops in Iraq.

He also served as a security guard for Isis, including during at least two mass executions where the victims included children.

Yaseen was intercepted last December by Border Force. He gave officials a false name before routine biometric checks revealed his true identity.

At his trial at Winchester Crown Court, prosecutor Steven Molloy said Yaseen had a ‘deeper and lengthy involvement in terrorism and Islamic extremist ideology’.

It is understood that Yaseen was cleared to walk around town with an ankle tag and observe a 6pm to 6am curfew.

However these restrictions did not stop him going to Windsor Great Park or to the castle.

Yaseen grew up in western Iraq and became a member of Islamic State of Iraq, a franchise of Al Qaeda, aged just 16.

And what's changed since then?

u/Affectionate-Tank532 14h ago

3 days isn't old news

2

It is when the status of the person in question has changed, he's back in jail

He's back in prison because of this article tho. That's the whole point.

This was posted 9 hours ago and leaves the new information out

That's a whole separate point and I actually agree with on that one. My original point is that a 3 day old story is not old news.

It is when the article and issue has swiftly moved on

So case solved then? That's where he should be? In a British jail? Daft take.

Yes finishing his sentence, else you deport people who do criminal acts and don't get punished other than going back to their country of origin?

Correct. Take biometrics, fine to confiscate their property and deport. They can start again over there. I don't care for punishing animals that shouldn't even be here and it isn't our responsibility. There is no value in it, much less paying for rehabilitating them. Another daft take.

Ok someone kills 300 British people, we just deport them? Seems logical

Strawman argument. That is not what he has done. He is being kept and not deported because his home country might actually execute him for what he did to his own people. That and the fact that he has great human rights lawyers and access to our wonderful courts who will protect him and his rights instead of the British public. Joke system abused by every migrant and asylum beneficiary the world over.

Not a straw man it's a hypothetical to show how what you said in the previous message is an absurd stance

Did you even read the article? He had just been released.

No he was released from prison to a bail hostel which has strict conditions. This photo proved he broke those conditions. He was back in prison hours after this was published.

Because we have totally lost our collective spine as a country.

Yeah we’re too scared to go out and protest fictional issues these days.

You’d be labelled a racist or far right or some bullsh*t. When really, you just want what’s best for the country.
