Air shows are not just for entertainment for the common public and the sitting prime minister. These help in boosting morale of the soldiers (here the airforce), its a highly demanding job, staying on the edge 24/7, prepared to carry out interception / combat roles. These events help cool off the crew. Now don't come at me by saying fuel is less so stop air show, these shows are necessary for venting off and practicing high g maneuvers.
2nd point, the prime minister of any country is a high value target, and each vehicle in their convoy has a specific task, incoming threat analysis, counter measure, decoys and personnel carriers, ambulance. and these vehicles are specially made with IED/ mine protection + bullet proof windows, countermeasures for chemical weapons attacks. replacing these vehicles (for ev's) at the moment is not feasible due to cost and time required for manufacture. The PM of a country has many tasks to attend to and some of them require their physical presence.
I'm not saying the PM of our country is a saint but here the guy in the video is simply taking advantage of people being inadequately informed about the context.

You don’t see the larger picture my suggestion is your first learn a little bit about the economy and how the factors that our PM has mentioned will help strengthen the rupee and control inflation as the Prime Minister. He has certain security requirements and he needs to travel to build trade relations use a little logic. Just because you don’t like him, that’s not mean you criticize everything he does.
