Note as interface for Move

I don't understand why Ableton won't make Note an interface for the Move. Why do I have to upload my set > close it on whichever device I'm on > open it on the other device > make music > realize I need to do something that's easier on the other device > close my set again > open it on the other device > rinse > repeat.

I understand they want Note to be stand alone, but hear me out. Let's say, for instance, you plug in your Move via USB or pair via bluetooth or wifi to your phone or tablet and you don't have to do all that. You can simply use Move as a controller for Note, or Note as a touchscreen interface for the Move, however you want to look at it.

Also, why do I have to buy the drift synth for Note if I purchased a Move when it comes included on the Move? Just give it to me. Neither of these things make any sense to me.

I’m with ya on that. why doesn’t the move have a control note mode. It was like right there for them.

Yep, that would be pretty neat. being able to see all params at once on an ipad screen and using the move as a control surface would be amazing. my guess of why they haven't implemented this is that it could cannibalize push sales, it's actually a better setup if you think about it –bigger screen with touch capability, more powerful processor, touch screen, more portable.
