Help (General) Best Linux Distro?

Tired of the constant crashes and time outs. What’s the best Linux distro for AMD?

Assuming you’re into video games, I would recommend CachyOS or Bazzite. What’s your needs?

Gaming mostly, and a little bit of programming

CachyOS is your place. Bazzite is an immutable distro, so it’s not really into developing (even if there’s a developer version).
CachyOS is Arch based so you’re always on cutting edge tech and it’s packed with many optimizations.

CachyOS is a good one since you're doing both gaming and development.

I personally tried Cachy and ended up going with EndeavourOS for a bit of a lighter distro. It's still Arch-based and fit more of my preferences.

Cachy, Nobara, Pikaos - if gaming Each distro represents a slightly different category and approach to how the OS should work.

Any but for gaming, Bazzite, steamOS or CachyOS. I had Bazzite as my first distro and loved it but it’s a bit restricted in some ways which can be good for average users but I switched to CachyOS and love it. It’s more open but there’s a higher risk of screwing something up. But if you’re careful you should be fine.

I don’t think you can go wrong with any of those 3.
