EA is such trash. Bioware was one of my favorite RPG studios. This is shitty news.

Key word being was, though. I love Bioware. I played almost all these games when they came out, and I have fond memories of my time with all of them.

But look at that list of games. Other than Anthem, they're all 20 years old or more. I guess we got a couple good ME sequels after that, and Inquisition was decent, but I don't even count Anthem among what I'm talking about because it was trash.

They've kind of been coasting on the good will they bought with those 2 decade old franchises for years. After that, they abandoned all the "storytellers, developers and players who brought their worlds to life", and kind of forgot who they were.

I'm sad they're going to be gone, but everything I've played from them for more than a decade has just felt soulless. They've been a studio in decline for a while. It truly bums me out to say that, but I don't think I'm wrong.

EDIT: But also, fuck EA with red hot fire poker.

Was. BioWare hasn’t been BioWare since ME3. Good riddance. I hope they continue to shut down every studio that releases garbage video games.
