I like how the defenders for that game were saying ea was to blame omitting the fact the terrible cringe writing was all bioware.

As I said, my guess is that after the absolute Disaster that was Veilguard, someone from EA, in the past few months asked them if they actually had something on the next Mass Effect... and they just didn't have anything besides vague concepts and a bit of Art and that's at least partially the reason they got the Axe now.
