Wild to throw up Anthem. Game had the coolest bones but was a complete and utter disaster.

Mentioning anthem and not mentioning jade empire makes me sad.

I really hope someone gets to make "anthem in all but name" one day and do it right. So much potential in that game

There are probably people who worked on Anthem still at the company and they want to pay respect to the work they did making those great bones.

Probably fair to mention it so casuals can realise like "oh, THAT'S what killed them".

Anthem was a big nail in the coffin. EA wanted a live service money maker and it flopped. These big companies keep trying to make single player companies do the live service thing then tossing their toys out of the pram when it fails.

Dragon Age was also a flop as was Andromeda. Dunno how much EA can be blamed for what happened there.

casey hudson who worked for bioware is the one who pitched the ideal of a live action multiplayer game.that's not ea's fault either

Never have I found a flight suit more intuitive than Anthem, but MANNNNNN that game as a dumpster fire as Anthem. Servers were a nightmare from day 1
