Very true. Especially once two tanks are in their in 6v6 and one being Domina, it just turns into nothing but shields... it's SO annoying

If they put in better hardware, yes. But what they could do is sell a version that has the exact same hardware but just without the screen, detachable Joycons and battery and then sell it for like $200.

I hardly ever play handheld, one reason being the Switch 2 is quite heavy.
But I still don't wanna miss the functionality as it's awesome to bring the console with me and being able to play games 1:1. Even if that's only like once a month or so

Overall PC/Steam but I also love my Switch 2 and don't wanna miss it. Always been on the Nintendo side since I got my first Gameboy with Pokemon Blue

I've had my G502 for like 5 years and not one issue with the scroll wheel so it breaking after just weeks surely is not normal

Ich persönlich würde es nicht machen. Solange du das Geld nicht wirklich dringend anderweitig brauchst. Du kannst doch den PC nutzen und weiter daran basteln (oder ins Software-basteln gehen). Am Ende bereust du es vielleicht und dann sitzt du doof da, weil gerade aktuell Hardware absurd überteuert ist. Im Vergleich zu vor zwei Jahren bezahlst du heute für die gleiche Hardware nicht selten das insgesamt doppelte

Absolutely not. Especially with such a tight budget (in today's market) it's perfectly fine. 1440p is a nice to have you don't wanna miss once you got it but that's it.

The 5800X3D is more than capable of handling any GPU up to at least a 5070 or 9070XT unless you only play 1080p, which taxes the CPU more.

Do it the "Wii way". Switch Sports, Sports resort, 1&2 Switch and such games. Games you can play with them that aren't serious and just pure (family) fun.

The whole thing. OW already had a terrible time balancing the game itself, after they went two roads with 5v5 and 6v6 and then added yet another mode that needed a completely different level of balancing. It just doesn't work out. Especially not if you then decide to introduce a whole ten new heroes in just one year on top of that

Can only agree with my HD599. They're like way over a decade old and still sound awesome, have no cracks or anything despite being only plastic.

A small third-party Streamdeck from SOOMFON. It only has 6 display-buttons and some dials but it's SUCH a nice addition for having quick one-button access to stuff like my PC lighting, screenshot or game recordings without having to do that with keyboard shortcuts or whatever.
It's also nicer to turn a dial for changing the volume than the keyboard buttons and such

There just isn't a huge title right now that gets ported, that's why it's rather quiet. It might change when OoT gets released or several months after.

Gaming has been a thing for a long time. Using GenAI because "I'm not a visual artist" just isn't an excuse in my eyes. Many indie devs aren't when they start making a game. If they are but they aren't a game dev.
If you're actually passionate about your game, you can and will learn the stuff necessary. And people are willing to help in many cases.
People won't like your game if you don't put your passion into it anyway because you can always tell

Denn auch da gibt es einen Unterschied zwischen "finde ich interessant" und "löst Trauma aus".
Jemand kann zB sehr interessiert and True Crime sein und trotzdem Panikattacken kriegen, wenn er/sie auch nur das Wort "Vergew..." hört. Entsprechend sind solche Warnungen wichtig und richtig.
Genauso bei Epilepsie. Soll jetzt jemand, der sowas hat, einfach gar keine YT-Videos oder Filme mehr schauen? Denn das wäre schlicht die einzige Alternative.

In many games even minimum often doesn't look nearly as bad as it used to be. In games where I want to have as many fps as possible, I'd easily sacrifice some grass in the corner or whatever and go for low if needed.
For something more story driven where 60fps is already perfectly enough, sometimes even 30 (yes, you can hate me for my opinion) I want to crank up the visuals as much as possible and get at least medium-high settings.
In terms of resolution tho I wouldn't want to go below 1080p.
RT is unnecessary to me. Sure it can look nice but it eats up so much performance for nothing. I rather crank up some other settings like more foliage and material details

It's gonna be fine. These consoles are designed for such use cases and the cooling in them exceeds what the hardware actually needs anyway.
