I will still never stay at an AirBNB.

Hotel rules are:

  • Check out by the time listed.
  • Don't burn down the room
  • Don't steal anything
  • What you do in that room otherwise is your business
  • Have a free breakfast

Don't forget: 'staffed so I can at least leave my bag there if I arrive super early' which almost no Airbnb has offered me

i stayed at an airbnb where they had the water heater turned down so low there wasn't enough for washing dishes or showering. They had put a locked panel over the water heater buttons.

They also left a box of tools. So I complained to airbnb that there wasn't enough hot water for hygeine, they came and turned it up a TINY BIT, then I unscrewed the panel with their screwdriver and turned it up to a human comfort degree.

Ehh, I’ve rented 100’s of ab&b’s and have never once had a problem. Like, not one. I’ve managed to do al the things listed here. Checked out at 10, didn’t burn the house down, didn’t steal anything, and what we did in that house was our business. And I’d rather cook my own breakfast. Haha.

You are probably a tidy person... if you're like me I clean the hotel rooms before I leave. Some people are not like that, and I can imagine AirBnBs would be a pain in the ass.

But you have to stop at a grocery store before checking in to buy your breakfast stuff. We checked in from driving all day relaxed for a bit woke up the next day went for breakfast checked out and off we went again, No hassle, No issues and I even took a coffee with me for the road.
